Mubong Park

Mubong Park or Mujin Park is the final antagonist of The God of Highschool. He was heralded as a prodigy of his generation and became the youngest to join the ranks of the Six. Through this, he was defeated by the main character’s, Mori Jin, grandfather and had been scarred for life both mentally and physically. During his time of rehabilitation after his loss, he had met his best friend and lover. This was a change in character for Mubong who never cared for relationships at all but ultimately his best friend betrayed him and his lover had met her demise at the hands of a God. Thus, would start his advent of death to the Gods.

I. Dictation of all Creation: Karma

Like any post done on GoH, there needs to be an establishment of the power that dictates all things in the multiverse: Karma.

The question has been asked and answered multiple times. What is Karma? Karma in its most basic essence is a concept that controls all phenomena that occur throughout creation. Because Karma shows in the story that all choices are interconnected by the choice of the characters. With death, miracles[1], fate, cause and effect, life, and all of creation itself[2], all of it is under Karma and the whole story ties into itself due to the Karmic cycle. Mori and Mubong are shown as clear reflections to each other's stories, or as the story tells it, a god turned human and human turned god. This is all done specifically by the Karmic Cycle that is placed upon Mori Jin by Tathagata.

Karma in short, is a concept that controls everything in the GoH multiverse. By manipulating the concept of Karma, it had turned into a law/the Karmic Cycle.The karmic cycle then leads to Samsara.

Subset A. Samsara

Samsara by definition is the endlessly repeated cycle of death and rebirth caused by Karma. Through Samsara, it leads to multiple branching outcomes from choices done by the characters. As each choice would lead to billions and trillions of different possibilities. A very clear case is with the existence of the various different Jaecheondaesongs and Tathagatas that exist throughout the GoH multiverse that all stem from different possibilities occurring. Such as if Mori Hui, a clone of Mori Jin who died, became the real Jaecheondaesong or how alternate Daewi Han and Mira Yoo’s becoming Tathagata.

The Samsara or the Karmic cycle, which encompasses an endless loop of death and rebirth, eventually became meaningless. When Mori Jin transcended and put an end to it, this is what would lead to an ascension to Nirvana.

Subset B. Nirvana

When one achieves Nirvana in GoH, they become a new type of being and exist in a higher dimensional plane of existence. In short, this allows for the characters to view creation across the multiverse as mere tablets and be free from the laws of multiverse. As such, all things that Karma dictated stated above are transcended completely. Life, death, fate, causality, etc become meaningless to those in Nirvana.

Subset C. The Multiverse

Defining the Goh multiverse is pretty easy as it’s pretty clear cut and explained. The universe consists of three different realms, the human, sage, and heavenly realm with subsets such as hell and heaven. Note that the sage realm and divine realm are considered entirely separate universes neighboring the human realm and they each have their own flow of time. Entirely making the structure of just a single GoH universe massive in its own right. With there being alternate universes as explained due to the number of possibilities that could occur.

II. Tathagata’s will and limitless of Mujin

For Mubong as Maitreya, his very existence is the key component of his abilities. For one, the chain of Samsara/Karmic Cycle is Tathagata’s will or as Mori puts it, everything is under Buddha’s palm. As established, the Karmic cycle is implemented by manipulating the concept of Karma and establishing it as law across the multiverse. As through all the existing possibilities known that exist in GoH, Tathagata’s will and revival had occurred. Then there is the conceptual law established by the Gods, the Taboo, that allows the Gods of any rank to be invulnerable, which is applied across all three realms of a GoH universe. Described as an inviolable rule and akin to a slave contract, it had repressed the very idea of humans beating Gods and locked up their potential. Then, when it had been remade to affect all races, the Taboo governed reality to such a degree that even the Gods who initially made the Taboo became unable to interfere in human disputes.

Next is the Tam which is able to bend the laws of the world and is described as fundamentally different from the Gods powers. Through this, it was able to break the Taboo. Now, what did Mubong do to Tam? Completely ignored it and slapped it away. Demonstrating superiority over it and all its abilities, including the power to affect the laws. Even better is, Mubong is able to completely rip the new Taboo in half casually. This Taboo is greater than the previous one because it had been established by Mori as Supreme God. Supreme Gods are told to be a “higher dimension” in which in GoH, acts as a way to describe potency and status, best said as “A stage above a God” giving them inherently superior layers of potency to those below. Best shown when Tathagata used his law manipulation on another God. Mubong, of course, holds the same title as Supreme God of Gods in which these layers of law manipulation lead to his nearly whole moveset and resistances.

Subset A. Invincibility

As described above, the layers of law manipulation granted to Mubong makes him untouchable. Even with the combination of Dean’s ability to see the future, Sujin controlling the laws of physics, Q’s manipulation probability and physical laws all at once was completely ineffective towards Mubong. Breaking this down, we see that Mubong is an acausal existence as he is unable to be seen in Dean’s future sight and as can be shown, Q’s abilities entirely and how they work by simply killing Q in every version of the future. He was also able to completely ignore Q’s existence erasure rooted in probability manipulation completely. While with Sujin who had actually used The Hope on Ohkwang, a God, could only last a minute which as explained, Mubong naturally has superiority via his existence and had shown to completely ignore Sujin’s abilities. When combating against Daewi who controls all fundamental forces and uses them to attack, Mubong is able to shrug them off and against the Infinite Punch which is the culmination of all forces into one attack, Mubong casually makes a barrier to block it. Then the Yeouijus are able to absorb souls by touching them and Mubong could casually swat them away.

His abilities stretch to even be passively exuded. Where just by his casual words and just standing there, Mubong is able to affect his enemies to completely obeying his commands. This is not mind hax, rather just a property of Supreme God’s very nature. Through this, Mubong is able to regenerate and destroy himself and others at his will. Additionally, Mori was able to enforce his own Karma onto Mubong, which was conceptually erasing him, but the power of the Prophets that exist in the imaginary space, the red wings allowed him to resist and regenerate from it.

Subset B. Unstoppable Forces

Mubong’s moveset is not just limited to his natural ability to be invincible. He has several methods of attack. The basics being his ability to spawn spikes and exploding dolls on people, turn others into soul vapors and physically vaporize, and has thousands of additional arms that can be used to attack or defend. Additionally, the Mt. Oheng, which are five mountains of different elements that are heavier than dozens of stars. Reason being that, even Satan, someone who scales massively above Hercules who can hold the “sky” filled with constellations had trouble lifting Mt. Oheng. Mubong is also able to absorb the powers of others, and with this he gains Satan’s wings that can negate regeneration. With his telekinesis, he’s even able to summon Blue Hypergiants and launch them at others.

Then there are the Eight letters of Tathagata that are directly linked to his existence.

• The Mandala: A dagger able to telekinetically move and ignore durability by ignoring the laws of physics.
• The Diamond Sutra: A really hard bell which have sound waves that both ignore durability by attacking the inside of a person’s body and turning others into soul vapors
• The Stone Statue of Indra: A spear/staff that can spawn energy swords in others.
• The Kaleidoscope: A mirror that reflects all damage and reveals the universe.
• The Holy Book: Includes the scroll of reincarnation that can revive the dead.
• The Fairy Colony: Fairies that can infinitely duplicate, evolve and adapt , and can shoot lasers. These fairies can injure Mubong himself.
• The Light: A diamond that absorbs all the light of every star in the galaxy that shoots a laser.
• The Blade of Tathagata: A sword that can is made up of 48,000 souls which ignores durability, and can cut through fundamental forces, souls, and negate regeneration.

Mubong’s own arsenal comes into play with his borrowed power, he can manipulate gravity. Using it to push, pull, block, crush, usually in the shape of a cross. His two main moves are the Stigmata and Longinus. The Stigmata is that cross attack but amped up, and inflicts a curse on the opponent where even when Satan revived himself completely with a whole new body, the cross shape was a permanent mark on him. The Longinus is a spear attack and when combined with the letters of Tathagata and a blue hypergiant, it forms the Holy spear.

The real importance of the Holy Spear is its ability to destroy the Final Yeoui. The Final Yeoui is a conceptual weapon composed of every weapon in the verse, filled to the brim of its hax such as space-time manip, law manip, probability manip, subatomic manip and more, and the most important part, being Samsara itself.

III. Human and God’s might

While, Mubong’s arsenal as shown can allow him to fight characters who have greater stats than him, he’s certainly not lacking in them.

For starters, Mori was able to make a giant nebula sized thundercloud that distorted the Oort cloud and created a massive black hole in the galaxy which had only burned Mubong. And weaker characters could make a galaxy sized explosion which a character like Satan scales over but in comparison to Mubong.. Becomes a speck of dust..

With the Stigmata, he’s even able to scratch Mori in his Nirvana state, both explained as the higher dimensional state and having superiority as the true Supreme God. Then Mubong in his dying moments had spread his Malice across the universe which required Mori to conceptually power-null Mubong and purify the universe. Mubong’s Malice being the embodiment of all his powers including his hax which have shown to affect on a universal level at minimum and has shown to affect universal and higher beings.

Subset A. Blitzkrieg

Now, in my talks with my opponents, he has constantly told me that I’m about to get blitzed here. Now, I don’t particularly think that’s the case nor do I think that speed is all that relevant, but I can’t let his taunting go can I?

Now for a frame of reference, arcs back where characters would be fodder to Mubong, the time frame in their fight was 100 picoseconds. Described previously, Mubong can use the Stone statue of Indra to spawn energy swords in others and that’s exactly what he did to Satan, across the whole solar system. But that’s not all, as told with the letter Light, Mubong was able to absorb the light of every star in the galaxy in a matter of moments. Speed feats that travel across the whole area of the solar system and even the galaxy in time frames that make the yields extreme speed feats that can’t be contested with. However, the best speed feat done by Mubong actually has also been said already, spreading his Malice across the universe, which includes all three realms, in a single moment. Malice is Mubong’s power as a whole and would scale to his own speed as he was going to use all of it to attack Mori in one single blow.

For the blog

Mubong is a really hax character and he genuinely has too many abilities to fully go through. However, this should be a good overview of what he can do.

In short he is:

At minimum having universal/multi-universal power and most likely even more.

Extremely high degrees of MFTL.

Strong gravity manipulation.

Multiple attacks of ignoring durability.

Layers of conceptual law manipulation and law manipulation + ability to attack concepts.

Resistance to space time, subatomic, fate, causality, probability, life, death, etc hax.

Regeneration based on his law manipulation and conceptual regeneration from a link to prophets in an imaginary plane.

Overall, he’s a super hax character that have too many resistances + an extremely MFTL+ character with universal or more power.
