Due to the lack of gravity in the vacuum of pace, traditional weapons have been rendered useless for interstellar combat. New experimental technology being developed at Black Site Gamma is aiming to conduct a beam of superheated plasma through the barrel of a traditional gun, Such weapons are much bulkier, a result of the prototypical nature of the weapons. The guns fire much slower than a pistol in the atmosphere, but are vastly superior in space. They also do not need to reload, having a self-sustainable power source. The drawback is that the gun can overheat is fired too quickly. As with traditional weapons, our engineers theorize that different kinds of weapon can be made, from pistols to sniper rifles. The first shipment of the prototypes will be arriving at our extra-terran base next week. Our scientists have postulated that this superheated plasma could be channeled into a blade, which could be used to deflect the plasma bolts if angled properly by a user with sufficient reflexes. This idea has been noted and earmarked for future research. Sixteen quintillion krona have been set aside from our budget to fund this line of research.* This information will not be released to the public, in accordance with Black Operation Research Bill 001 (notably, the first law to come under it's effect and forever sealed to the public eye).
