Dark Shadows
Story
Four teenagers discover something in the basement of Bedfordshire County's St. Peter's Psychiatric Hospital that deals with them off panel. Angie is enjoying a Punk concert when she gets a very bad feeling about her brother who went to Bedfordshire County's, Strange dark shadows drift through the hostpital and turn all the patients into a violent frenzy killing most of the staff. Angie kicks her date Leon out of his car and then procedes to travel to Bedfordshire, John is having a shave when he is disturbed by a demon that is an emissary of King Arawn Pen Annuvin who informs him of a disturbance at the border. He only agrees to help once the demon tells him that Angie is in grave danger, the shadows continue to spread to the town again leaving those they pass gripped in a violent rage. After some divination John discovers the
location of the disturbances the demon has warned him of is Bedfordshire. Angie arrives there and notices the towns people acting like savages, then continues to the hospital. Due to the trouble John got Chas into last issue his friend Kev gives him a lift to Bedfordshire, Angie hears voices in her head and notice strange black flowers when she sneaks into the hospital grounds. As she notices strange bite marks on her hand, John finds the half-eaten corpse of a rabbit amongst a bunch of black flowers. Looking closer, the flowers are akin to miniature Venus flytraps, their open maws lined with tiny teeth. John tells Kev that Arawn is the King Of The Dead, as Angie run into a robed, masked figure wearing a chained belt adorned with hooks and clutching a shepherd's crook.

Overview
Carey continues to bring more of the John and Angie relationship to the center and still continue the great story. I liked Kit Ryan but it seem she got alot of attention that sometimes took away from the story.The doors opening and the mysterious dog is turning out to be the most interesting story ive read in a while.
