Fairy God-Father

Hey so after the first issue (#1 review), I was pretty excited to see what Bedard and Kirkham had in store for us next.

Good:

We pick off right where we left off from issue#1, and this time there's a lot more action. The art is great in my opinion, although it seems indecisive as to weather or not we can see Kyle's pupils (which appear to be blue now as opposed to green as they where prior to the NEW52). We also get a better idea of the kinda relation Ganthet has with Kyle, and with Saint Walker; he is their "fairy god-father". So when Kyle found out the other Guardians had him lobotomized Kyle was furious, this in turn make all the rings attach themselves to his figures and giving him the power of the entire spectrum!

Bad:

A cliffhanger-which means I have to wait another month to see what happens next.

Verdict:

Every issue makes me want to come back next month and pick up the next one with eager anticipation.

As opposed to the first issue this is one I would characterize as much more action based, and while it feels kind of necessary after the developments of the first issue, there is really not a lot of plot or characterization going on in this issue.  The action mostly follows Kyle as he is being attacked by Arkillo, Fatality and Bleez so that they can retrieve the rings.  This I thought was handled fairly well especially some of the dialogue.  When saint Walker shows up the pair head to Oa with th...

This comic is on of my favorite New 52 titles. I LOVE IT!!! The first issue was great and this second issue was NOT a letdown.Just in case you didn't read the first issue, (don't worry, this isn't a spoiler) Green Lantern Kyle Rayner has suddenly become a power ring-magnet.
