I've said it before and I'll say it again. Rick's Uncanny Avengers is the most Avengers title on the shelves. Sounds like he's got some really good stuff coming up in UA and Cap. Until this podcast I don't think I ever noticed, most of Remender's runs on mainstream superhero titles have been radical reinventions of former incarnations. And typically successful at that.
Rick Remender guests and we get some answers on CAPTAIN AMERICA, UNCANNY AVENGERS, FEAR AGENT as well as the reason for the continuing seeds from UNCANNY X-FORCE.
As long as we don't see any continuing seeds from his stupid run on Secret Avengers.
Remender really doesn't get the concept of "Mutants"
You're talking about "the m-word", right? I've heard about it and after seeing the scans and Remender's responses on the subject I was both disappointed and disgusted.
The fact that more people dropped his books after that... well, let's just say it fills my heart with joy!
@hectorsquall: Yea that and the fact he thinks Mutants are no different from normal super humans in the MU because the "they have no common way of life" which is just factually false in every way and also because he said Cyclops stance on the Mutant race is the same as Apocalypse
Remender <3 <3 <3
His Uncanny X-Force run might be my favorite run of comics, ever. And Uncanny Avengers is picking up where it left off, so YAY!

I know sure even Clan Akkaba would have a mutant culture....it's a shame he's not very good at taking critiscm. I think there would be value in the M-Word debate because a lot of intelligent people were talking, writing and interacting with/about his work. That's a resource. I also really don't think people just go and pick on comic creators just for the sake of it. Well most people anyway. There are always trolls.
Also @g_man I love that podcast image.
@batsupfan: It played for me.
The guests on this podcast are consistently awesome. Remender was another installment in a long trend of great shows.
I was listening to every comics podcast I could find for a while and this one is on the short list of keepers that I come back to every time it posts. About to go listen to 31 in the car right now.
Rock on, G-Man
