I heard on the podcast this week, I hear it off and on in other podcast, I see it in writer/editor interviews, it seems an angry fan has no worth anymore simply because he/she is angry. When did it become so easy to dismiss the feelings of a fan simply because he/she was angry and expressed that anger on the board, a place expressly constructed to allow fans to express themselves? Yes I was angry at Batwoman's sudden junking of one type of storyline for another completely un-related storyline. Why is my anger meaningless?
Are comic book fans allowed to be angry anymore?
It's easy to dismiss fan anger because it's something that is so constant and reoccurring. If you go to YouTube and look at the comments for anything comic book related there will be a plethora of angry people arguing.
I do think that many legitimate criticisms get dismissed because of this, but many are dumb complaints.
