Who is the most badass antihero?
It's hard for me, I really love Geralt, Logan, Ghost Rider, Spawn and Castle. They are all great at the same level for me, Geralt and Logan are really similar..
Wolverine isn't even an anti hero, not even really a hero. The dude does whatever he wants and it just so happens to help the heroes.
On topic, Kratos. He's basically a villain who helps save the world.
Yep, Judge Dredd is another great antihero, hope to see in the future another movie like the last one with Urban.
@hypnos0929: What a dumb analogy from someone who clearly knows nothing of him. Don't know how you could even think this but whatever. You're right on him not being an anti-hero but it's subjective.
Wolverine is a hero and that's on period.
@thanoskhan: But he isn't though. He's just a guy who happens to help heroes. Hes got more murders, innocent murders, on his claws than deadpool
@hypnos0929: "Happens" Lol you're dismissed.
@thanoskhan: I mean name a time where he's helped more people than he's killed.
@hypnos0929: Don't try anymore. The most basic counter to negate your statement is only a SINGLE time where he's helped save the Earth.
Just stop, you sound ignorant. Suggesting Wolverine accidentally and coincidentally helps the heroes and he's just along for the ride to fulfill his own personal goals. Probably haven't picked up a single Wolverine comic ever.
Yes he has alot of blood on his hands, that's no suprise, genius. It's part of the complexity of his character. Even he sometimes has doubts that he's anything other than an animal that's in his nature or a monsterous weapon that people turned him into and it's literally a fundamental moral part of his stories that despite all that he's a great man and a hero who EVERYONE is tight with and respects. He has millions of idolizers and is a big brother figure to many.
He's more morally intact than Boy Scout Cyclops but you wouldn't know that because you don't know about Wolverine nor do you read up on X-Men because then you would know what I'm talking about and I wouldn't have to write all this.
He's an X-Man and an Avenger for a reason. Death doesn't do anything to change that. He's good at heart and a hero above all.
@thanoskhan: I love how you didn't say a single incident where his body count wasn't higher than his savior count.
Also you can call him a role model as easily as you could call R. Kelly a role model. Both men are sick, both men destroy lives, and both are still looked up to.

That's exactly what an anti-hero does. Having said that, Wolverine has generally swayed between being a standard hero and an anti-hero over the years.
@spambot: I feel like an anti hero needs a moral justification for being bad though. Punisher kills criminals, his moral reason is they are criminals. Deadpool is a hit man who takes contracts but rarely ever kills your average McDonald's workers and he's turned down many offers to kill people he thinks are good. Jason Todd also kills villains, the real big bads.
Wolverine just feels like a jerk who occasionally helps the X-Men. I can't imagine him as a hero though, he's got too much blood on his hands.
@hypnos0929: Wolverine has shown himself to live by his own code and sense of honor many times over. I don't get the feeling you've read that much stuff with Wolverine in it. I mean ya he can be a jerk but he's been an X-man for over 40 years in real world time. Probably more than any other character over that time except maybe Storm.
