RtP was a DC movie? Huh...guess I missed that.

Comes down to Joker vs Watchmen for me. I’m leaning towards Watchmen. While Joker has the better acting performance, as whole of what I prefer in a R-rated cbm, Watchmen here covers all bases for me

V for Vendetta, no match

Didn't know Road to Perdition was adapted from a graphic novel but I will go with V for Vendetta. Joker is objectively the better film by a mile. While Watchmen was one of the coolest adaptations of all time but V is one of the most ethical characters of all time for me.

Joker, by a wide margin.

Love them all. Constantine is so damn good. What an excellent horror movie and stylish as hell.

How IW is better than RTP if Joker is not?

Joker by a fairly solid margin.

RtP was very good, but nothing special. Same goes for V for Vendetta.

Watchmen was good but not on the same level as Jpker or the two above.

Constantine is mediocre fun.

A History of Violence is by no means a bad film... but tbh I found it crushingly disappointing after hearing so much praise for it. It was good, but I see nothing special in it.

I agree that Parasite is better than Joker, but I wouldn't say the gap is quite as big as as you say. And IMO Joker and IW are not even comparable, so I think the margin there should've been much, much bigger.
