Nightwing / Grayson ?

My sister and I both read volume 1 of Nightwing and be both liked it. I want to surprise her by getting volume 1 of Grayson for us to read. Now should we finish reading Nightwing first, or can we read Grayson or will it be too confusing?

Theres only 8 issues of Grayson as of now. 1 Futures End, 1 Annual and 6 issues if I'm not mistaken.

Only the last issue of Nightwing (#30) and Forever Evil relate to Grayson.

Read the last issue of Nightwing, then start Grayson.

@catsnlynne: Read Nightwing #29, Nightwing #30, the Forever Evil story, then you will understand Grayson. If you want to get into the Spyral stuff, there's some Batman Inc issues on them.

I don't think it's essential you read any other issues if you just have a quick read-up on the wiki before hand.
