How fast can superman punch?

Just asking the community because it's been stated that superman flies at 2,000 miles per second. But what about his punching speed? I've read a comic book long time ago and forgot who was he fighting, but superman was counting how much punches he was throwing and I think he was at 1,024 and then on the next slide it'll be at 1,037 or something. Been trying to find that comic but have had no luck. I just need to know again to get an idea on how fast he can punch.

Post-crisis Superman could move in nanoseconds so his punching speed could easily be FTL if he exerts himself. Massivet hypersonic om the regular though

he's normally hyper sonic with his hits though

He can probably punch FTL. However his striking power has been shown to diminish when punching this fast, unless he bullrushes with his whole body.
