DB GT Is Better Than Dragon Ball Super

I think GT introduced better ideas. SSJ4 is far better in concept and design than all the Super transformations and Baby is a more compelling villain than anyone in Super.

But I think overall Super was better executed.

Is he? Dragon Ball GT did portray Goku as being smarter overall but in battle he was pretty dumb and rely more on brute power than strategy. it took him about two full episodes before he realized Super 17 was absorbing his attack and by the time finally he realized it Super 17 already absorbed the full power of a Super Saiyan 4.

Compare this to Dragon Ball super where Goku noticed instantly that characters like botamo and Bergamo were absorbing and or immune to his attacks.

While he is being more of a idiot outside of battle but within battle he's more clever and creative combat wise than GT Goku.

Your second clip is out of context this happens after it was already revealed to Goku that Super 17 can absorb energy after a full episode and of half spamming energy attacks on him in spite of it clearly not working. By the time he pieces it together and stopped spamming energy attacks Super 17 already absorbed the full power of a Super Saiyan 4. It had to be one of the most boneheaded things I've seen Goku done in battle.

It was extremely obvious that 17 was absorbing his energy but he needed it to be spelled out for him

What does the third clip prove? GT Goku also let down his guard and got A Sneak Attack in a Simi manet in your first clip so how exactly does this prove super goku is a dumber fighter than GT Goku?

Look at his fight against hit or Botamo.

When super Goku realized physical attacks didn't work he switched the ki and when he realized that that didn't work he switched to grappling almost immediately.

If this was SSJ4 GT Goku he would have spent at least an episode in a half spamming larger and larger energy attacks until he was completely out of energy before he considered changing tactics.

GT does have better char designs

I loved GT:

very good music, some very cool concepts like the dragons, classic animation style and oh.my.fucking.god SSJ 4

but ... its still the worst part of Dragonball compared to DBZ, OG and DBS.

While UI and UE are just recolors, they still look so fucking badass and IHMO just as sexy as SSJ 4.
