A thread for memes and funny images related to Alan Moore and/or his various works. I'll start us off:

In his defense, he is a genius.

@saint_wildcard: Genius is no use for hypocrisy. Though it's a bit different when he created those characters never intending for others to use them whereas many other characters, like Batman, are part of a long tradition of handing-off to the next writer, but I digress.

I see people claiming this a lot but there is a difference. Moor saw how other people had their works taken out of their hands so he made a deal with the guys at dc.. (back in what denny oneals time?) That his stuff would not be given over to other writers. Years later dc decided screw that.. Because Dan Didio is a prick.

His being mad makes sense. Particularly after other times they screwed him over or ticked him off

I agree, by the way. By "It's true actually," I meant that Alan Moore is a genius and that lesser writers who use his characters (and, for that matter, their bureaucratic superiors) are generally idea-stealing bastards.
