Actors who could actually replace Chris Evans as Captain America

Now, I personally don't think it's necessary to find a new actor for Captain America.

They should just have Bucky be the new Cap. However, if they do recast Steve Rogers, there's plenty of actors who could get the job done. Here are some of them.

Jensen Ackles

The "Supernatural" star is one of our generation's best actors, and he almost played Hawkeye in "The Avengers". He hasn't had many film roles as of yet, but he has the perfect look and build for Steve Rogers. He may be 40, but he doesn't look like it and could do the role for at least a few years.

John Cena

John Cena definitely looks the part, and he's already rumored to be replacing Evans. His acting roles have almost all been comedic, but he will play a more serious role - who's also a soldier - in Bumblebee this December. Who knows, he could surprise a lot of people! (However, I can't get out of my head the image of his head on the body of Liefeld's Captain America!)

Scott Eastwood

Eastwood is one of the best choices out there for Steve Rogers. He mainly plays soldier-types and is fairly young. If Marvel wants a younger actor who could play him for several years, Eastwood is definitely an option.

John Krasinski

Krasinski was considered to play Steve, and though he may have seemed like an odd choice all those years ago, it's become apparent that he'd be great. He's played plenty of soldier-types, ranging from the main hero of "13 Hours" to Jack Ryan in Hulu's new series. He's definitely a solid choice.

Alexander Skarsgard

If you think he's too skinny, Google that Tarzan movie from a few years back. As we can see, he definitely has the build to play Steve Rogers, and looks the part. They should definitely keep him on the shortlist.

Chris Evans is Captain America. He shouldn't be recasted.

I'd buy Krasinski as Cap, but I really want him as Reed.

Wow, are you just hankering for a bad MCU movie? None of these actors are close in ability to what Chris Evans did. Don’t get an actor who looks good, get one that can really carry a movie emotionally. None of these actors have ever done that successfully.

Krasinski? Jensen Ackles? Sure he hasn't been in a movie, but he's great at emoting.

Anthony Mackie?

Emotionally? Krasinski was better in A Quiet Place than Evans was in any MCU movie imo.

Krasinski would be better for Reed Richards, Skarsgard would be better for a darker, more brooding character (wouldn't mind seeing him as Sentry... fight me), and I just don't want John Cena anywhere near the role (watching one of my least favorite wrestlers as one my least favorite characters cannot end well for me). Honestly, hard to replace Evans. I need more options lol.

Playing Cap in the MCU is not that hard, but replacement is never good, and it doesn't help that Evans is the face of the character 10 years now, and that he's a solid actor. It's litteraly his own character at this point, from a performance standpoint.
