consider the complexity between each of the machines. Look at a sentinal.... and then look at a tx or t-1000.... sentinals are much more advanced technology and according to the matrix timeline, it is set much further into the future than the terminatrix. in all 3 terminator movies, the bad robot is stopped by a human one way or another, in 2 of the 3 assistance is required from an OBSOLETE model.
