Spiderman vs Thor

Spiderman (Amazing Spiderman) vs Thor (Movie Version)

I couldn't find a thread with these versions of these characters so if it's out there by all means post it here. Movie versions of both characters, morals on, no lightning for Thor but he does have Mjolnir, and the fight takes place in New York City. No prep time either way but both are aware of the other's abilities. Who wins and why?

Umm yeah, I love Spiderman, but even in the movies he is no match for Thor.

@randomsid: He had some pretty dang impressive strength and agility feats though...and Iron Man put up a good fight against Thor and Spiderman's strength feats from the movies seem to be above Iron Man's (if I'm wrong, please tell me why)

Stalemate or Thor eventually. Movie Thor really doesn't wow me. Webbs Spiderman is insanely fast and his spidersense will keep Peter from being hit.

His feats were impressive, but still not Thor level. Thor took out Frost Giants with no problem. Spidey had trouble with The Lizard. There are many others I could say but that is really all that is needed. The Lizard is weaker than your average Frost Giant.

@randomsid: It seems like his lifting power doesn't match up with his striking power. As someone above said, he struggled to break the glass on a truck but could lift/catch falling cars like it was nothing.

Spiderman can't do anything to hurt Thor. Thor only needs to tag Spidey once to win. It may take awhile, but eventually Thor will since Spidey will eventually tire.Thor won't.

Spider-Man is a hundred times faster than Thor, and would avoid most of his attacks, but Peter can´t really hurt Thor, and Thor only needs one hit to KO Peter.

Thor wins.

It would be easy for Thor take out Spider-Man.

@nfactor1995: Well, that could prolong the fight a bit longer, but Spiderman won't really be able to hurt thor, so yeah.

It will be like Aquaman vs Deathstroke: Deathstroke says Aquaman only needs to hit him once to end it, while Deathstrokes pummeling him with all he's got, doing very little damage. One of my favorite fights.

Replace DS with Spiderman, and Aquaman with Thor, and Spideman blinds Thor with webbing instead of a flashbang.

This is off topic, but to all who think Aquaman sucks at fighting: He trashed deathstroke while blind.

Spiderman has no chance here.

Thor can ignore Peter's punches, he's webbing is only a nuisance and will eventually run out. Even morals on, Thor is willing to kill. Thor still has wind blasts/tornado effect even without the lighting. Like he did to the destroyer, not that he needs to use that to beat down Peter.

he's not saying it's not a mismatch... he's saying it's not intentional by the look of it (intentional mismatch = spite)

on op: thor stomps..... ironman did 0 damage to thor while being at 400% power than usual...... spiderman have even lesser hope to do any damage.

In the OPs defense, the Avengers movie made Thor look like a wuss, in order to wank Iron Man and Hulk. Watching that movie, at a glance, it would be easy to put Thor down to Spider-man's level. But he's not. Thor stomps badly.

@deerock313: How? During the Iron Man Thor fight, Thor tanked a tackle into a mountain, switched positions, then ran with Iron Man propulsion lending speed up the mountain until Iron Man took them back to the Forest. Then Thor crushed his gauntlets.

In the Hulk Thor fight. Thor wasn't hurt at all except for a Small droplet of blood. He wasn't even really fighting but trying to reason with Banner.

@guardiandevil83: For starters, the scene in the woods should have lasted a whole 2 seconds. The only reason it lasted longer was so that cap and stark would get to show what makes them better than him (even though by in large they shouldn't be). Even though he was just trying to reason with hulk, it LOOKED kind of like he was getting smacked around. He could have taken worse and dished out wayyy worse but that's not the point I'm making. Plus he got stabbed by a wee knife. And there was that one part where hulk BFRed him with a punch. (Simply for comedy relief) I'm not knocking thor's high end feats, but taken out of context, his weaker moments would be pretty embarrassing. But I guess that's one weakness of a team movie. He's not allowed to outshine everyone else TOO badly.
