Pre-Crisis Darkseid vs Monarch

@logy5000: Well i think the whole point of the issue was Monarch under-estimating Prime, the only time he blasted Prime with something significant he thought Prime would die, evidently he didnt and got his armor ripped out.

Not sure why people are saying PC Darkseid would win, apart from Great Darkness Saga, which is an extremely amped up version (as you just read) he has dont nothing to warrent such high status.

@Killemall: I haven't read anything on PC Darkseid other than the GD saga, where his power levels were pretty legit. What are the names of the other PC Darkseid comics?

well the OB doesn't seem to work that well agains superman so i don't think would affect prime plus boy prime was pretty much immune to reality warping

In addition to the Fourth World Omnibus, you might want to check out Justice League of America 183-185, which is (contrary to what seems to be a popular belief) PC Darkseid's only encounter with the JLA.

BTW, sending SBP to different time periods may not help DS out as much as you'd think. In addition to essentially giving him limitless prep time, if SBP were sent to the past, it opens up the possibility of him launching a (prepped) attack against a younger, unprepared Darkseid. Sending SBP to the future will just make it that much easier for him to get a hold of advanced time travel technology to come back.

@goldchamp101: Darkseid was indeed amped during the GDS, not extremely amped, but still amped.

Also, I don't know anything about PC Mantis so I won't comment on it, but the other 2 aren't that impressive, one-shotting Flash is cool and all but nothing Monarch couldn't do, and depowering Validus isn't impressive if we take into consideration the fact that Darkseid himself gave him that power.

@goldchamp101: I am aware that he was depowered Pre-GDS/Start of GDS, that doesn't take from the fact that the guy stole the powers of many powerful characters, some of them on the Skyfather Ballpark.
