Wanda has good direct shielding, but her aoe shielding is horrible. ICM who is by all accounts a lot weaker then CM, was able to blast the ground and send her flying. Same thing happened with Sanctuary.

The combination of both of them should be too much for her to defend against.

Beat her in less than 30 seconds while getting double teamed.. while puppeting another Wanda’s body from another universe… she negs both.

Dr. Strange was pretty weak in this movie. Wanda was more powerful, but not enough.

It's also very likely that the version of Wanda that she possessed was weaker, meaning our Wanda was working through a weaker Wanda. The variant Wanda never went through the events of WandaVision, nor learnt anything from the Darkholde, and it's possible she wasn't present for other events given she had her kids naturally and they are like 12 years old at this point.

How Captain Marvel's durability is related to Scarlet Witch Zafros. She didn't even struggle with Captain Marvel more than 30 seconds anyway.

Thor can destroy her with Stormbreaker.

Based on this movie alone Wanda is around street level. Doesn't maintain the proper defense to defend against these characters offense, Thor can shoot her with sky lightning, Carol can probally just over power her. Wanda was not shown quick effective use of matter manipulation.

wanda turns thor into string cheese at the start of the fight then mind controls captain marvel to cut off her own head with stormbreaker. they don’t have a single win condition. they don’t have a single thing they can do to prevent her from stomping, and there isn’t a single properly supported argument in the duos favor in or out of this thread.

@zafros13: photon blasts are faster than lightning and wanda reacted to that, carol isn’t as fast as her own energy blasts either. no argument for a blitz, not in a million years without ignoring factual statements like carol’s blasts being light. furthermore if we ignore carol’s blasts being light speed then that opens the floodgates for anyone to just pick and choose what is canon. wanda also knows thor and carol and understands what both are capable of. in MoM wanda showed if she feels threatened she will immediately eliminate whoever is the biggest threat to her.

The variant Wanda was also treated like a ragdoll when she tried standing up to 616 Wanda.

Ignoring that argument, Variant CM put up a good fight, reasonable to assume Carol could replicate it. Thor however gets fodderized

From what I saw from YouTube clip, she aim blocked and she's been hit by subsonic stuff more consistently then supersonic+.

This is ridicoulous if you consider how Strange stalled her for a long time from collapsing the roof which was a telpagraphed attack.

I don't consider them light speed because they have blunt force, which isn't a property of light but ignoring that. You are completely ignoring how Wanda is presented in combat, we've already seen her pressured by a much weaker CM.

This is what makes your bias obvious. Wanda very consistently is very ineffective with her powers and your trying to dismiss that by making a claim that has no bases in the movies. Falling statue level Captain Marvel pressured her in combat and she didn't eliminate her immediately. In WandaVision she was getting her skull crushed by White Vision and did nothing to prevent it. She only took out illuminati members quickly after they were standing around not attacking for awhile.

Captain Marvel is MHS+ and Wanda already proved she can react these speeds.

Wanda is far from street level. She legit reality warped 2 guys in 10 seconds, then cut a street tier in half in 5 seconds.

When the movie is out of theaters I can probally list like 100 anti feats from this movie.

Wanda's best AP feat was hitting through metal doors and like vaporizing people. Neither are out of the range of Spider-man level characters. And she's below most Spider-man characters in durability.

And we're putting her against Thor. One powerful sky lightning bolt and Wanda is dead. She wasn't shown using matter manipulation on a whim and Thor is protected by magic which could offer resistance.

Now if the prompt said "MCU Wanda" I might be more inclined to scale her to feats from other movies like EG, but it says MoM specifically, and in this movie everyone is consistently not on a high level, and even with feats from previous movies she still always jobbed.

And when she fought Thanos she was in a very emotional state which seems to increase her power, and being a brick is a bad combat style against Wanda, also it negated the effectiveness of his sword.

Oh and that gif made me realize, her AP feats in AoU might be as good as MoM since those Ultronbots have bullet proofing. Point of the gif by the way is to show emotion effect her powers.

@zafros13: 1) she was blasted 3 times and 1 was blocked after it was fired which means it’s a reaction feat.

2) carol had only flown faster than light in the vacuum of space, not a feat applicable for carol inside a planets gravitational pull or especially in combat.

3) wanda had a shield passively activated even in her fight against the ultron bots. they fire at her back and her shield was up the entire time. not sure why she wouldn’t do the same here considering she knows thor and carol.

@akz: it’s funny those anti feats you pointed out are ignored in every thread. mcu characters are incredibly inconsistent.
