@ob1toe: it was a fake kurakara town and I honestly doubt wonderweiss could withstand his bankai, especially since it doesnt flame up like his shikai does.

But yeah, all the crazy shit that happens throughout bleach and yamma only decides to use his bankai after his best friend died the seireitei is at the brink of destruction.

Its just not in character for him unless he's at and absolute low point. He's not gonna bust it out in a 1v1 against someone he knows nothing about.

@citgo: @manimalman: My bad it was fkt but yammato was still holding back in the fight. As shown in the yahwach fight he was slowly killing his surrounding's with his bankais passive heat. Him using his bankai against aizen would be out of chracter since it would do more harm then good, both the gotei members in the are and the surrounding area would be affected by his bankai. Fkt doesnt protect the outside world as aizen stated that shikai yammatos flames were potent enough to break the fkt barrier and burn the town and surronding area to ash hence why he had to try to tank it

its very unlikely in-chracter yammato would go bankai against isshiki as the only time we saw it was when he was acting out of chracter and not caring about how he might damage the ss due to his blood lust and rage towards yahwach. Its very unlikely that he would comprise his position and use bankai while ic

@ob1toe: all the more reason for him to end it quickly and percisely with his bankai, he bankai is more contain since his flames are just limited the tip and edge of his blade. We've already seen that he can use it with limited damage to his surroundings(just some cracked glass and some rain).

Basically the bankai is more potent but his shikai more traditionally destructive and he was fine blasting off a town size suicide attack.

And IIRC FKT is within SS, so the only reason he jumped to seal the flames was to save his home from collateral damage who were not part of the 13 squads. Isshiki blitzstomps.

Isshiki will start out with h2h, which won’t be impressive to Yama. After he starts shrinking himself Yama will go Shikai, Isshiki tries to shrink the flames( won’t get into if that’s successful or not ) if he does Yama goes Bankai no more flames to shrink. Isshiki tries to shrink ZnT but can’t, eventually Isshiki gets vaped.

The rods won’t affect Yama like they do Naruto and Sasuke due to better piercing resistance/durability.

4. If energies are equal he can drain yamamoto with his rods

5. He seals yamomoto in a pot

6. Yamamoto can not even tag him nor can he counter shrinking

Also, it's irrelevant. He doesn't have the AP or speed feats to suggest he one taps Yama.

Characters had relativistic - light speed calcs EARLY ON in bleach. Such as Uryu outspeeding his shadow. This isn't outlandish either, since characters have also just consistently dodged beams of light. And mimihagi has a MFTL calc. Ichibe also has a FTL+ calc. Top tiers of bleach are consistently like FTL - MFTL.
