anyone up for new 52 superman ( me ) vs perfect cell ( you )?

I’m going to have some time tomorrow so I was thinking of using Aladdin from Magi in a CAV.

I only have one other CAV post I need to make so I should be able to get my post up fairly quickly tomorrow (Late Thursday night to be more exact)

For Aladdin you’re looking at:

LS-FTL speeds

Planet level durability (though it’s irrelevant since he has very strong defensive hax)

Island level DC (though it’s irrelevant since he has strong hax)

Short list of his relevant hax: Barriers, can manipulate the laws of physics, elemental manipulation, molecular manipulation, dimensional and spatial Movement, gravity manipulation and so much more.

@yassassin: Hmmmm, I thought I replied to this.

I'm interested, just set it up.

I think win by KO, or temporary death should be fine. Though Wade is practically immortal, if he's dead for more than a minute, then that's a win on Joe's end imo.

Looking for a street level matchup. Anywhere from Batman, Wolverine, Deadpool, or Daredevil level up to Spiderman, Luke Cage, Deathstroke or Ravager.

No prep battles though. Standard equipment, random or semi-random encounter (some knowledge on one another is fine; but no preparing for the encounter fwith extra equipment).

@floopay: are you familiar with Gantz? I’ve been wanting to use Kei Kurono or Musclerider in a CAV. Some of Their equipment can be restricted since some of it packs quite a punch

I just need a rough idea of their power level so I can pick an appropriate character to debate against them.

Strength

Speed

Durability

Do you know a mainstream character who is relatively similar in terms of power? I'm also probably going to pick a more obscure character to debate with, so I'm okay with crazy.

@floopay: @floopay: Do you have anyone to fight Goliath from the Gargoyles comics and Tv Series? He's a Street Level Brick like character. He's not too fast and would probably be danced around by the likes of Spider man or Deathstroke.

Strength - around wall to small building. They can throw cars so whatever level that is around

Durability - small building level. They can be throw threw multiple cars and take little damage

Speed - casually faster than a machine gun at close range

Hax - depends on the equipment

X gun fires an invisible attack that explodes after 3 seconds

Y gun fires a series of cables that BFR the target into space

Z gun fires a localized gravity circle that crushes anything in the blast range of about 3-5 meters

Gantz Sword an extendable sword

Hard Suit - a building level power suit with strong cutting blades and laser blasts

Mech Suit - a building sized robot with laser cannons

I would only use the X gun and Gantz Swird for this unless you have a stronger character in mind.

Somewhere between Deadpool and Spidermab I think is a suitable range

Been awhile since I've debated with Zack Fair. So that's one option, he's about the same level, standard equipment with some magic.

Another option is Fou Lou. He's about that same level, probably a little above Spiderman.

My last couple picks would be the Creeper (between Deadpool and Spiderman, DC Character), and Gambit

I’ll give Fou Lou a try. If he is above Spider-Man in DC, can I use the Hard Suit? No Mech Suit ofc

@mass: Go ahead with the hard suit. Fou Lou is a fun one, I've never really gotten to use him.

I prefer semi-random encounters. You can give some knowledge to characters; but I always like to eliminate the "prep champion" factor. I want both characters at their best, standard equipment, standard showings, ready to fight their best.

I don't argue with game mechanics, only with feats backed by cut scenes, movies, and concrete story-driven points. So even with materia he's not really above Spiderman.

Hey, so I'm hoping to put together a tournament (preferably better than the last one) that focuses on guns-for-hire live action characters. This would be people like James Bond, Jason Bourne, John Wick, The Bride from Kill Bill, Rambo, Black Widow, and so on.

Would anyone be interested, or do you guys think it would work at all?

@floopay: cool, depending on your characters hax, I may or may not use the Z Gun since it’s pretty strong.

Random encounter is fine by me. I’ll be using Kei Kurono. I forgot to mention, he can also turn invisible with stealth mode but we can restrict that if you want

I came up with the guns-for-hire idea because I figured a cool thing to add as a win stipulation is that there could be a target that needs to be taken out. So the objective of the combatants is to kill the the opponent, or to evade them and kill the target.

Or do both if you're up for it.

I guess it would be better to allow more characters however, that's true. I just don't want anyone who would have a hilarious advantage over the others. "Peak Human" comic characters are obviously different than other peak human's.

Would adding people other than guns-for-hire be a better alternative?

@gearsecond659: yes I'd like to use Jin Mori, He's Teambuster; Around Star-ish level, FTL-MFTL, very few hax(Can create weaker clones of himself), Sealing, expert at Martial arts.
