Get technical
If there is something which can be said for this series, it is that it has gotten progressively better (this is not necessarily true of all the Danger girl series.) In this case it has benefited from perhaps the first issue of the series starting off somewhat out of character for those involved, but here as the Danger Girls get back to being superspies and not bikers, they get back to what works. It helps too to incorporate in some of the other characters so well. The dialogue between Secret Agent X and Johnny is particularly well handled (as in funny) and Secret Agent X’s behaviour throughout is somewhat of a running joke that keeps working. There is also a cute (yet still funny) romantic moment later on, but the best to come is at the end, which the reader can probably figure out already but which still needed to be shown. Pretty fun in the end and worth the first few mediocre issues to get to this point.
