I am trying to act sixteen right now and sympathize with you but HAHAHAAHA! I know I am terrible.

I do sympathize with but here is some perspective: If you choose to go to college you may end up taking exams that start 7:40 in the morning or 8:00 at night and possibly on the same day. The other bright side is that in college, this when you are just coming back to school from a month-long break.

Other things to keep in mind: Not all exams are cumulative. Screwing up this exam most likely will not destroy your chances of passing the class as opposed to bombing the end of year exam.

As for college mid-term exams that I hated: Communication Law was kind of terrible even though it was open note-book. It was two hundred page of case law that you had to paraphrase and you might end up losing ten points if you forgot the exact year the Pentagon Papers was published. What was worse: No exam, just a midterm assignment. Such a writing a three page single space paper comparing the rise and fall of Michael Jackson to Freud and his interpretation of dreams in relation to Karl Marx (Sociology with a nut-job that I kind of had a crush on).

Good Luck!

I feel like this is a game of "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?" His characterization is not as heavy-handed these days and I appreciate that. I still wouldn't mind seeing him in action more. Who would he be pitted against in "The X-men Vs. The Avengers" publicity stunt event?

I may consider this challenge at some point but for now: Can I just loot his bank account, ebay all his equipment, AND sell all the his data on different villains to the highest bidder through a hired proxy?

I have my doubts as to whether it will pass. I think this the government is using it as more of a scare tactic. I am sure it is very real, but the internet is extremely hard to monitor in country that has a constitution and people are not afraid of the government. I would be lost without sites like Comic Vine and Wikipedia. It gives away plots, but damn I end up usually wanting to read the books more to get the full feeling of the story.

It would be nice for some one Comic Vine to comment on the situation, but it not relevant to the purpose of the site. There are news stories, but they focus on the comics comic-related discussions, not how they are regulated. If you want analysis of the situation I recommend comicalliance.com.

I am a terrible person. I'm kind of hoping that you kill Alfred off because at moment I can't think of a comic that has done that recently. I know you won't because it will be a little more dramatic for Bruce to continue to fight crime while thinking about his father figure fighting for his life.

I am not that big a fan of Gail Simone. I look up to her for a being a strong creative woman who broke into a male-dominated business. But there are things that I just don't like about her.

I liked the fact that she finally gave Wonder Woman a proper boyfriend and there were some tender moments her stories that is lacking in current Wonder Woman stories. But the her ape lackeys were gimmicky and her interaction with Etta Candy seemed forced. I just wasn't on the edge of my seat to read what was next.

Her first run in Birds of Prey was awesome and is my favorite BoP comic to date. I loved the interactions between the characters and Barbara's portrayal. Then I hated her second run where everyone thought she was going to walk again and just faked her death which seemed moot with the impending "New 52."

But now to Batgirl: WHY GAIL! WHY! You are destroying a character that Bruce thought of as his intellectual equal according to "Batman: The Road Home." Gordon knowing that his daughter was Batgirl was a staple in almost every continuity. She was cutesy in her original appearance in the 1960s which was fun and fit campy atmosphere at the time. But the humor mixed with the seriousness just isn't meshing in this story.

I will finish this rant later there is another story that I liked that I don't think many people know of.

I'm sorry about the errors. I'm only going off the Wiki entries here. I thought Montoya was gone because Gotham Central seems to be gone from continuity. I use the term "casualty" out of frustration and thought it seemed amusing as opposed to "Where the Hell are all these character?" And I love Zinda when she was in Birds of Prey. I just can't get out to to get all these stories but I am interested in what is being omitted. I am also relying on reviews.

I feel "cheated." I have only been at this for four and a half years and was just starting to figure things out. I have spent more money than I care to admit on all these stories that have been twisted around. And I still miss "Gotham Central" terribly.

I like the idea of the "New 52" and there are some good stories. But I miss a ton of the characters. I am only familiar with the Batman comics so I'm hoping for people to fill out the list. I know some of the characters are still in limbo, but I still feel the urge mention how I much I miss their place in the former continuity. It includes teams and story arcs. Starting with the ones that come to mind:

Cassandra Cain: The first Batgirl series I read.

Stephanie Brown: I hated her for a while, but her cuteness grew on me and I kind of wanted to cry when her book ended and she rode off into the purple sky.

Half of Barbara Gordon's IQ points: I picked up the first issue and realized it would be too painful to read more about a character I loved. I want Gail Simone gone.

James Gordon Jr. : Such a delightful creep.

Misfit: Silly and annoying, but it showed that Barbara had a motherly side.

Rene Montoya: Not sure where she is. I loved her No Man's Land and how she evolved from there.

Kate Bishop, Lady Black Hawk and rest of the former Birds of Prey roster: I have no words.

I don't know much about what is going and it would take a ton of research to fill in all the blanks. I know this thread has kind of been done before, but this a place to put your comment about what you miss from what happened before "The New 52."

This looks interesting. I kind of stopped reading X-Books after the House of M and I miss the Xavier Institute. I look forward to your next entry.
