I'm casting my vote with Dark Knight Rises. Though neither film is a great cinematic accomplishment, DKR is infinitely more fun to watch. Bane chews up the scenery like a master. I can't get enough. Neeson's understated performance as one of the most over the top Batman villains is a waste of time. Scarecrow had some good gags in both films so that's also a draw. Bale is decidedly dull in each film, as he is for pretty much the entire trilogy so no edge there.
Begins featured about an hour on an origin that really wasn't all it was cracked up to be, the finale also did not impress or captivate. DKR plot was pretty much glorious nonsense of Bane owning Gotham and Bruce crawling out of a hole. Hey, at least it was fun to watch. As far as female leads Katie Holmes sucks so bad in Begins she was recast in the sequel and not one person in the world complained. Anne Hathaway was decent, but gives yet another annoyingly understated performance of a fantastic character. Where was Catwoman's skill set in that movie? All she did was a couple cartwheels and rode a motorcycle, ehh, at least she wasn't Katie Holmes I guess.
normally I'm a big fan of Alex Garner but Killer Croc looks kinda funky on this one. the mouth looks completely wrong, he only has four upper teeth but it doesn't look like any have been broken out and it's just a weird looking face he's pulling there.
also Punisher needs to ditch that ski mask he looks ridiculous. everyone knows the Punisher is Frank Castle, I can see him now, "Hmm, don't know about this mask, better put another skull on it. Yeah."
@marcosvergara14: That's so weird. If those dummys would just read The Longbow Hunters they would understand why their favorite tv show sucks. lol.
But they won't beacuse "It doen't feel the same as Arrow". Belive it or not last week i read a post saying it was really racist that Iris was white in the comics and DC shoud change her race to being accurate to the TV shows beacuse if they didn't it was a misogynistic aptitude to fans of the TV version.
Man, I don't want things to be like Arrow. I want things to be like Green Arrow. That's like fans of Lois and Clark Adventures of Superman (a decent show to be sure) feeling they have the right to criticize Superman's mythos because they know exactly nothing.
What's the deal with Edmondson? I've never seen a writer that's wants to say so little. Mike Baron wrote more story in one issue of any classic Punisher issue than this guy does in an entire story arc.
@timelord: whatever, I can speculate all I want, it's a freakin' message board on comicvine not a grand jury hearing. Also, I think when teams switch at Marvel it seems more amicable because it generally is.
