please don't make Wolverine the central protagonist of this movie. Grrr, I'm surly and revenge-driven. It was so nice in First Class to focus on Prof. X.

How come SHIELD agents have a much better sense of humor in the movies than in the TV show? Cap's support crew revealed more personality in 2 seconds on a trailer than four episodes has for the TV team.

It was fine. I hope they start adding in some more C and D list Marvel characters. Maybe they could make one so popular that they could spin off into a movie. That would be a good goal for this show: to be so good that fans demand to see the characters on the show on the big screen. It would be much easier to make a funny SHIELD sit-com about a low level team on the fringes of things than the tight rope they're trying to walk here. Think about it...nothing they do on this show can rise to the level of threat that would require the direct attention of Nick Fury or the intervention of the Avengers. It puts them in kind of a weird box.

They also need to develop some mysteries and arcs specifically for the show. It's not enough that they exist in the Marvel Universe. We need to care about these characters and the challenges that they face need to be meaningful to them. This show cannot be filler between movies or it won't work. I'll definitely watch more to see if they get their feet under them.

I think of street level as peak human (i.e. someone who is the absolute best that any human could ever hope to be except they are perfectly consistent) and enhanced peak human (i.e. same as peak human except with one enhanced ability [like Daredevil's senses]).

Another way I look at it is to ask this question: Could they be killed with a regular gun? If the answer is 'yes', then they are a street leveler. Spider-man is the absolute maximum I'd be willing to include in this category and frankly I'd put him in an intermediate level between 'street level' and 'city buster'...I call it the 'block buster' level. It is extremely unlikely that a regular human with a regular gun could ever hit Spider-man.

p.s. psychics get their own category. Prep can push a 'street leveler' up as high as their genius and tech allows.

In an open, urban environment Spider-man powers can fight way, WAY out of their weight class.

Or do the people of Tatooine dress like Jedi?

I was hoping there was some story in the EU where a failed Jedi had founded a colony on Tatooine a thousand years BBY or something.

Anyone have a good in-continuity reason why Jedi dress like the people on Tatooine?

The fourth wall reason is that Lucas apparently forgot that Obi-Wan dressed like that to fit in during his exile on Tatooine. Yoda is not wearing a tiny version of Tatooine clothes during his exile on Dagobah. He's just wearing a simple tunic, but it looks kinda similar. Ghost Anakin wears Tatooine clothes because he's...from Tatooine. I think Lucas got the image from the end of ROTJ stuck in his head as just the way Jedi dressed.
