Seeing how SpOck seems to be leading the charge in this story, my already modest interest has diminished. Call me petty, I don't care.

But in fairness, Spider-Gwen is neat. And they pulled in Old Pete as well, bonus points for that. Though I'm not inclined to believe he's going to have a significant role in this.

I personally like the time around the Totem saga in Amazing. So that, I guess. Haven't seen the second ASM movie, so I bet it's not in line with what you expect from the movie, but in my humble opinion it's probably when Peter felt the most grounded and stable and having it actually improve the stories, rather than not.

just a q: in ssm 32 iron spider dies so if that is 616 peter as iron spider in the past, then how can current time 616 pete be alive. Shouldn't he be dead?

Earth-TRN443 Spider-Man. Many-worlds interpretation.

Spider-Gwen's suit, I kinda dig it. Although the mask when not worn looks very much like... something other than a Spider-suit mask. Just saying.

@camstevens80: I think the entire thing beginning from ASM 699 has been stupid.

The reason I think Felicia feels forced is because the supposed animosity towards Spidey from Felicia was never properly developed, it was just there suddenly. AFAIK there was a page or two of comics at the back of an issue showing her in jail and I take it that was supposed to be the so-called "development".

You know that Miguel would still be a part of the Marvel Universe even if he was "stuck" in 2099 "by himself", right? (It's not like he had a supporting cast of his own or something, goat forbid)

No offense taken.

I could argue further, but I fail to see the point.

@8008s: I did not say "he should just find Dr. Doom's time machine". My point in bringing up Doom's time machine (and how little of a problem Peter had to get access to it) was to point out that in the Marvel Universe time travel is a fairly trivial matter. Especially for the super community. Heck, the whole reason Miguel is there now is because someone not in the super community built a time machine (it was a "time mirror" or whatever, but eh, semantics). That was the point. The book hinges on what is effectively a non-issue for these people. You also completely missed another point in bringing that specific time machine up. Peter, knows about it (and the time mirror tech for that matter). Peter knows Miguel.

Miguel is written ok. As for ASM, it's meh. I don't like the whole "Felicia is evil now" thing. It feels super forced to me, and the end of the current issue is a blatant red herring.

@8008s: Spider-Man (Peter) successfully snuck into Dr Dooms HQ and used his time machine, with both MJ and Aunt May in tow. It's not farfetched to argue that it'd be even easier for two Spideys to sneak in. Sure, he himself maybe doesn't have the resources or tech to travel back to his own time, but he could easily seek out the help for it. That's what I meant with actively.
