As the Title says... "How did Kyle Rayner become a White Lantern ?"

It would appear that realizing the emotion of love in his final moment was the final trigger in becoming something more. Becoming a white lantern. Life is comprised of all the emotions he had come to master.

If I had to sum it up. Basically, love was that last lock on the door. His brief touch with death in that moment would be like him walking through that door. Him becoming a white lantern is like a symbol of both rebirth and evolution, as he has become a true hybrid lantern this time around. He is all emotion, he is what life it's self is all about. hope, will, rage, fear, compassion, avarice, love.

He mastered all of the different emotional spectrums within the corps thus turning him into a White Lantern. Because he was now able to wield not just green but also blue, red, yellow, indigo, violet, and orange, the colors fused into the ultimate "spectrum", white, which is the "color" of life,

Wow awesome. Ok one more thing. Now that Kyle is a WL dose he have to where all 7 rings or dose he get a white lantern ring ?

@kid_omega_prime: Nope! He only wears the one White Lantern ring. Kyle is the exact same type of White Lantern from Blackest Night/Brightest Day, he just achieved it a much different way.
