Youtube recommendations Suck

What the hell has happen to Youtube, why does Google think they need to shoehorn random garbage on people. It's really stupid having to deal with all that pointless junk.

It gets worse every time from Googles lame gimmicks as they do not want to stop.

My YT recommendations consists mostly of hair tutorials, nail polish tutorials, random Anime clips, and the occasional pre Calculus video because school lmao

Ehhh, my recommendations are mostly composed of body building stuff ever since I started working out during quarantine and I'm glad that YouTube recommendations led me to such a preciously cute sight like this adorable munchkin more than half a year ago.

Honestly, it's all been a win for me.

I usually just get some DBS manga spoilers and leaks and also some movies and Light novels.

Meh, I always look for Seth's video cuz he is funny. And DBS manga news, anime in general, game stuff for mobile, etc.

I try to manipulate the YT recommendations. I try to find more sci-fi stuff, and remove everything else from my watch history and search history. It seems to work, but sometimes they still recommend me US news channels, even though I have never watched them, and I don't live there.

I kind of like my YT recommendations. They tend to recommend stuff I'd watch.

As a video website, how did google start bothering people with recommendations in the first place?.

@metalgary: technically speaking recommendation is extremely powerful. Many old unpopular videos get high amount of views through it.

The main reason why I stop watching videos on YouTube is that there is no interesting content for me. I mean, this video may be boring, or there may not be the right information for me. Of course, the quality of audio and video also affects, but this is in second place. But in general, it is difficult to please everyone. In any case, there will be someone who does not like what you do. I'm also thinking about creating my own YouTube channel. And I understand that it will be difficult to develop it. But I hope I'll succeed)
