Is CV running like absolute dogshit for anyone else? I’d like to blame my phone, laptop, or internet but everything else is working fine with them.
CV loads slowly or not at all.
Anyone else experiencing this?

It's not you. CV is horrendous as of right now.

I'll have you know dog shit runs much better than this. Depending on what we eat it can run pretty damn fast.
I made a thread like 12 times and it actually went through once but didn't pop up until after an hour it's nuts
It's classic signs of dying website.
And worse, it's in a death spiral. The worse the website gets, the more people will leave it. The more people will leave it, the more it will get because the owners will be less likely to spend money to fix it's problems.
Yep.
I don't get how they can't monetize it better considering MCU's success(especially a few years ago). I feel like this could easily become the most visited forum for a bunch of superhero/manga/anime stuff but they just don't invest a penny on it.

IDK, maybe competition with bigger geek havens like Reddit is squeezing them out?
But anyway, I will be bummed when this site is gone. Sure it's far from a perfect community (just look at all the unnerving love for Andrew Tate), but there's legitimate art being made and critiqued here. Where else would I have an audience for an occasional blog about martial arts around the world, or a series of short stories about a spy?
Yeah a lot of us have been experiencing it the past few days. I see they added ads back slowing down the site again.
I wonder if this site will close down at some point?
This site would have to be crazy to not have ads. There are too many users and clicks to not monetize it.

They don't need it, there's tons of sites out there just as big if not bigger without ads clogging up the site. I'd like to see those click numbers because I have never known one person on here to find something from an ad on here lol
@arctika: I’ve clicked them by accident, particularly the one on the front page that expands.
but I mean even if no one buys the product the advertiser still pays right? that’s a good thing for the site’s existence
@tifalockhart: I mean, I visit plenty of sites that don't have ads all over the place that's all I'm saying. I think if they need that to exist that's not a good thing for the users imo but it's whatever. Ads or no ads the site still glitches more than a T-600 at this point. I've never accidentally clicked on any ads but I have had the site accidentally double post occasionally on me.
Just as a form of assurance, this issue has already been raised to the engineers and they are working on it.

Are they still working on that Forum Posts count bug I've experienced? Six months and counting...
