With the conclusion of the "Death of the Family" series what are your thoughts on how it ended? DO you think an alternate ending would have been better? Was there too much hype? Or was it what the doctor ordered? What do you think?
Batman 17: What did you think?
I thought the whole concept of the Joker playing a "Joke" of the Bat-fam was brilliant. Plus the fact that Batman turned the Joker's "Joke" on him. Only Batman trully undrstands the Joker and that is why the Joker/Batman relationship is the greatest antagonist/protagonist example in the comicverse. I am excited to see how the Joker will return from is implied death and how Batman will be able to move on knowing that he may posssibly have lost his true family.
It was great as per usual thanks to Snyder and Capullo. I was kind of hoping someone would actually bite the bullet though.
I thought about is someone died, before I was hoping that Batman or Nightwing would have killed the Joker if anyone was to die I would have wanted to Joker because that would have pushed the the story to such a level that I could be happy with out ever seeing the Joker again. I believe this because the Joker would have died but he would have untilmately won, by virtually breaking who ever did it. But I think that can wait for another time. I liked the way it ended though because the Joker did win, and he almost pushed Batman to break his one rule.
