Rate the Marvel Cinematic Universe
7. Some movies have been miss, I don't care for the Netflix shows or AOS and I think it gets overrated sometimes. Its great when it delivers, but when it doesn't...meh. Not outright bad but just meh.

Some of the movies like Civil War, Winter Soldier, Iron Man, and Avengers are great movies in their own right, but my preference is for the Netflix Universe. I watch/buy these films so I'd be lying if I said I hated the universe, its just that sometimes I'd wish the movies would focus on character development, less attempts at humor, and give the audience a good villain. I guess when it comes right down to it, its just great seeing these characters given life on the screen and done so competently.
@saberscar223 you might as well make a thread asking people to rate the individual movies, heh. It's difficult to rate a franchise from a scale of 1-10.
I like Iron Man 1 & 2 and Captain America 2 & 3, Avengers 1 is ok, Daredevil's good. The rest is either meh or bad imo. It's becoming very formulaic, they don't seem to want to take any risks. Plus I don't like the constant comic relief being crow barred in, forgettable soundtracks, lacking in decent villains etc.
7/10
Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Captain America: The First Avenger, Guardians of the Galaxy are my absolute favorites
Avengers and Captain America: Civil War are a pleasure to watch as well. Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor can be fun to watch every now and then.
@rahi3m912: Most people don't want a completely dark movie with no happiness. They make the movies for audience which they will make the most money off of.
I prefer the nextflix shows over the flims too much humor & lack of a good villian
I must be the only one who enjoyed Age of Ultron more than the 1st Avengers film.
I like it more aswell.
7. They've done well overall, a few misses, as expected. I'm going just by the films as I've not seen any of the TV shows, save for the first few AoS's which were terrible. Iron Man was great, TWS was very good. Lately, I've enjoyed the "under-the-radar" (by MCU standards) films more than the "big events". Liked Ant-Man and Doc Strange more than Civil War.

Me too.
8. Loved a lot, liked a lot, didn't like a couple, hated none, not even Iron Man 2.

I have one of the biggest MCU fans ever since the first Iron Man and was always deeply invested in the universe and adored the OG Avengers and Guardians .
However , many of their films , Iron Man 2 , Thor The Dark
World , Far From Home , Captain Marvel , Ant Man and The Wasp , have been very mediocre , bland , and distasteful.
Grant Ward bumps it up to a 10.
For as many movies that make it up, there are a few that I can say I legit don’t like. I think Disney/Feige has got it to the point where it’s big (or successful) enough where I’d like to see them ease up on the creative restrictions and try some stuff outside the box. All-in-all from a continuity/shared cinematic universe I can’t see how it can be done any better, it’s incredibly well constructed and weaved together imo ...I give it a solid 8/8.5

they are well made movies, however, these stories are trash and the characters are either reduced to a quipster or a background character that says nothing.
Iron Man 3,Thor 1,Thor Ragnarok,Endgame are absolute dumpster fire.
Iron Man 1 is good.
Infinity War,Black Panther and Guardians 1 is watchable, the rest is mediocre at best or bad
Grant Ward bumps it up to a 10.
Seriously though, I love it as a cinematic universe though some standalones aren't the best, but there's still tons of movies in it which I love, so I'll give it a 9.
As a cinematic achievement, 10/10 - we'll possibly never see anything like this again. DC is trying and they are failing so hard its not even funny
Going by quality - 8/10 - More good films than bad
My Enjoyment - 9/10 - I've enjoyed the journey immensely.
As far as being the biggest cinematic universe I've ever seen and successfully culminating ten years of work into a successful conclusion: 10/10
As movies and my own personal enjoyment of them. 7.

Alright Movies: Avengers: Endgame, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, The Avengers, Thor: Ragnarok, Iron Man 3, Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man 2
Good Movies: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Captain America: Civil War, Thor
Best Movies: Avengers: Infinity War, Iron Man, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Captain America: The Winter Soldier
There is nothing like it and other studios have failed to replicate it. However most of the movies are just average with same predictable formula
