It seems as though WoG himself considers MCU Spider-Man as a street-level hero, or at least implying he will be kept street-level moving forward.

lmao this was pretty clear from a feats perspective. Story wise, I’m glad they’re toning things down, nearly every show and film leading to some godly multiversal stuff was killing my interest in the MCU.

@akz: I think it's mostly because his feats in IW and EG like stopping Cull's strikes and staggering Thanos are pretty much better than most of the feats He performed in his solo movies. Which is why people consider him a Mid Tier.

Thanos wasn't exactly Superman, we saw iron Man was able to make him bleed so you know he's not nigh invincible he's just very strong.

He's a high-end street leveler that can fight mid-tier because of spider sense.

Kevin Feige's statements clearly contradict Spider-Man's actual feats and scaling. He's powerful enough to obliterate car-level Thor. It's blatantly obvious that Spider-Man is a mid-tier at the very least. Daily reminder that lightspeed Black Adam one-shots the verse with planet-level punches.

That is not a power level statement. He's explicitly grouping them into the areas they operate, which is why he puts guys like Ghost Rider, Blade, and Dr. Strange together, Pip and Eros together, etc

This can be proven with Pip and Eros working on the cosmic level to find the Eternals that Arishem abducted from Earth.

You can still be street level AND mid tier, street level just refers to the fact you normally deal with mob bosses and C grade supervillans as opposed to team busters and world ending threats.
