Let's Fix It: MCU Captain America
Cap is perfect...... Leave that man alone.
Nothing to fix.. he's perfect for the role. Moving on lol
Yep.
Maybe make him have a more commanding presence like in the comics, MCU is a bit too soft spoken.
Otherwise Cap is fine.
You don't fix what is not broken.
He's good.

Make him less powerfull... He's supposed to be peak human and he's beating up superhumans it's dumb
Nobody said his MCU version must be a peak human ...
• Maybe a more stern voice
• Bulk up some more to get exaggerated muscles like his comic counterpart.

I agree with the voice tho.
He'd be perfect if they just made him and Bucky get together
lmao
@agencyagent34: except he was never meant to be peak human
More reaction feats, have him beat Hulk in an armwrestle
The way they are going, this might just happen.

Just this for me.
He's a bit too OP. It's like the MCU loves to tone down powerhouses and boost street levelers. Other than that, I think they've done a good job with him.
@brucerogers: he's a peak human in the comics
When a street leveler is pummeling a dude who fought Thor you have a problem... It destroys his credibility... No one takes him seriously now all his feats are PIS
Not to mention what it did to Iron mans credibility

We're not talking about the comics.
I think it'd be cool if at some point in the future he breifly lifts thors hammer and a good heroic death would be a send off to a well done character
He's perfect for the role. Which makes me wonder, how did Marvel know that Chris Evans, a relatively scrawny comedy actor, was the right choice for Captain America? Apparently they requested him for the role, and he initially declined it, but they were persistent until he accepted. Why did they want him so bad? What roles did Chris Evans have that told them he can be a dramatic, wise and courageous leader?
You don't fix what is not broken.
right there!
Only thing Evans is missing for me is a stronger voice like somebody else mentioned. When he speaks, he doesn't command attention like I think he should. Everything else is pretty spot on, though.
I don't want to change anything besides his speeches. When it talks it is like he is giving speeches on the daily basis but what I want is to see Cap look like he is larger than life when he giving speeches.
A stronger voice and a stronger jaw
Bigger also. Google says he's 6 foot but I'm heard from people who saw him in real life and were shocked at how small he was. It's something I keep seeing when he's playing the role. Like the Hobbit Dwarfs when they try to trick you into thinking they are small. This is the opposite. I can tell man. I CAN TELL.
@agencyagent34: No he isn't. He is the peak of human perfection. As in he is what humans will evolve to be one day. As his most prolific writer,Ed Brubaker puts it.
I get the impression that you don't read a lot of his comics. He does stuff like this all the time there. The MCU version is similar but not equal to his comic counterpart
Iron Man fought Thor in a different armour than the one he used to fight Steve.
@brucerogers: I don't understand what you mean by peak of human evolution
@brucerogers: I don't understand what you mean by peak of human evolution
It means that he is the absolute peak of what a human being can naturally evolve into one day. He hasn't been called or stated to be peak human since the late silver/early bronze age now.
