X-Men vs. Justice League

Who will win this fight.

im willing to go with either side if its every member that's ever been on the team for the X-men and the Justice league.

How so? Care to explain?

the phantom stranger is or was a part of the Justice league and his power is just under the spectre(dc considers him Deus ex machina because of how powerful he is), besides that you have 4 Green lantern's, superman, Wonder woman, Captain Marvel and the Martian Manhunter. any of these characters could remove most the x-men at the start of the battle.

The X-men have the Phoenix(she was a member at one time), and Omega LvL Iceman, Cable, X-man, Magneto, Juggernaut, Professor X, and Storm. these are the members that i see removing most of the Justice League.

if were to come down to it Phoenix and the Phantom Stranger could undo reality.

at one part, until he explained he was confused, he joined up with Arthur and Zatanna. (then left)

and when i say "Nem-X eb enog!" thats Zatannas ability of making the X-men not exist, and win.

Also, not a single mutant can match Supes, Marv or WW in sheer power or speed, or match Bats in sneaky bastardness.

Well, im sorry to say, but that ability she is not aware of ;D

PLUS i even doubt she still has that because she only was so powerful because of Chthon who created her in the first place, now reality has changed since 198 and even she did, no more Chthon. so those powers ceased to exist.

I see the X-Men having a problem in deciding who who leads them for this fight (Cyclops, Storm, Prof X, Cable, Havok, Mags...etc...) and following the orders of whomever ended up being the defacto leader. Whereas nearly everyone would defer to Supes on the JLA side.

That's true but i could see an Omega LvL Iceman giving them a hard time. Its hard to breath if the Oxygen in your lungs is frozen, and hard to live it your blood is frozen. LoL

true, but im guessing it would be up to the creator to decide what versions of the characters are in this battle.

if it was the current incarnations of the X-men most of them would be powerless or dead already.

Captain Atom is extremely powerful now since he has enhanced his powers absorbing the other versions of himself while traveling through the multiverse which could increase his capabilities further. Besides Captain Atom is even capable even though it was not his fault he was capable of destroying one of the universes in the multiverse within the DC Universe when he had fought Superman Prime. I am not choosing a side here I am just saying Phoenix has definitely has some competition on the cosmic being department here if the Phoenix was brought into the fight itself.. For last time as I remember Captain Atom was apart of the Justice League so it will make it a real battle if the Phoenix goes int the battle for the Justice League can just unleash Captain Atom to fight her with his energy manipulating and energy absorbing abilities.

I agree. Captain Atom is one of the JLA's strongest characters.

The JLA have way to many weapons (powerhouse characters) and way to much speed for the X-Men. I'm sure someone could try to get real creative and come up with a scenario giving the X-Men a chance. But it would quickly be taking apart.

JLA takes it. The Big three + Flash, GLs, Marvel, Atom and Fate vs Mags, Prof X, Phoenix, Iceman, Emma, Storm and Longshot (yeah, I said it!). Those are the big guns and the JLA got them beat when it comes down to that.

Professor X could prolly take out supes and the entire GLC solo :/

Both sides have ppl capable of undoing anything, anywhere, anytime.

If it's every character ever then Dark Phoenix wins alone. No force in the 'verse can stop her.

That being said, JLC have similar power houses.

You guys are ignoring the fact that these are the X-Men and you shouldn't underestimate the X-Men. I mean look, PhoenixSouvenir completely forgot about some of the other X-Men who are just as powerful as the others like Wolverine, Rogue, Colossus, Psylocke, Banshee, Omega Sentinel, Rachel, Cyclops, Xorn, Mystique, Polaris, Havok, Joseph, Bishop, Juggernaut, Lady Mastermind, Polaris, Havok, etc.

Everyone on those two pictures are included within the battle. Look at both pictures, especially the X-Men's, long and hard.

Cap. Atom can manipulate all forms of energy. Reality manipulation isn't his thing, but he can time travel as well. I think he can jump forward about a week or so. I don't think New Son is as powerful as Cap.

Captain Atom has done that already in the Quantum field he created his own universe which he manipulated with his power alone which he can destroy and recreate because he is capable of manipulating Quantum energy. Besides Captain Atom has shown that he is capable of traveling through time itself on purpose by absorbing enough energy to be able to travel to the future or the past. He is capable of absorbing the kinetic energy from New Son though I do not believe he was apart of the X-Men since he was a villain then anything else here. Plus his power level has increased absorbing the power from the other versions of himself and there knowledge into him making much more dangerous then New Son even as a villain.

Depends on what you mean by Power. Someone how can alter reality is more powerful (in my opinion) then someone who cant.

@P, how can you say Cap can absorb New Sun as if its that simple. Someone who can alter reality would no doubt be able to mess with someone's powers. Hell, he could make it so Captain Atom was never born. But this is way off topic. It started off as a joke from someone and quickly became, "New Sun vs Captain Atom."
