No wonder why Doresain, demigod king of ghouls is always so peeved off. He is the god of the equivalent of janitors. Much like Juiblex, except oozes tend to clean up dungeons rather than open fields.

Yeegnoghu though not a god, lugs around Doresain like a servant and a meat shield. I guess being a god of janitors implies a lower rank than being a Demon lord. Though he probably is a fairly weak demigod. Doresain and Yeegnoghu are both larger than horses and would probably not get run over. And well, they don't die from loss of fingers. But they are cowards at heart and would run when losing to plot revenge another day.

Yeegnoghu can summon 50+ gnolls and about the same number of ghouls. though they are no better than foot soldiers and he can summon 6 or so demons. But sauron would knock them away like he did with the armies of gondor. But Yeegnoghu always has those flashy spells. Sauron can always corrupt some more. Gnolls however reach maturity faster then Men. And they are much stronger one and a half times stronger, but 20 iq points less on average

The demons would teleport and leave their lesser servants to die. The gnolls would throw the ghouls in front of them probably and any spell casters of high enough power would teleport as much as they can. Which would be far from enough.

Actually Sauron's fortress was invaded only once: when it was broken down at the end of the Battle of the Last Alliance. But it was rebuilt stronger than before. Sauron could always corrupt whatever demons Yeegnoghu summons, as demons are naturally greedy like their winged-worm cousins, and Yeegnughu loses simply because Sauron can throw whatever he can do right back at him.

The worse thing is, the ropes they use to pull the place from are whips. And they are spiked and coated in lye. And the ones who do the whipping tend to be the very very physically powerful demons or gnolls. Not the average ones. While Yeegnoghu knows this is wrong, he does it because it is wrong. Even with rollers, moving a city is nigh impossible.

Orcs would most likely tend to the slaves. Sauron would probably order his tower to be taken apart segment by segment and rebuilt in his new kingdom. The Orcs would be much more violent to the slaves, most likely beating them to death if they got tired or showed signs of fatigue. Besides, there's always to option of feeding them to the trolls or having the Nazgul take care of them.
Morgoth's fortress would be hell trying to rebuild. Think of Barad-dur as a toothpick to what Morgoth has.

Death tend's to be better than starvation and whipping. And if yeegnoghu were to lose his layer. he would lose much status in the chaotic non politics of the abyss. And while Yeegnoghu may have two layers of the abyss at his disposal *his own and that of Doresain* only the Ghouls are truly endless. Sauron can always corrupt some more. Gnolls however reach maturity faster then Men. And they are much stronger *one and a half times stronger, but 20 iq points less on average* ""The ghouls will probably get run over. The Gnolls and aramites and the Rohan riders will probably impale each other in massive numbers, but being chaotic they will probably be pushed back. Though Yeegnoghu would be much like sauron in turning the tide. "Now that you've said that, Yeegnoghu vs Sauron?"Indeed."
Baphomet may invite Sauron to his layer of the endless maze. In his palace of Lyktion which is in itself a endless maze or the tower of science, which isn't as civilized as you might think. It has 16 different floors each holding a science of interest to him, which include, Torture, death, skinning, taxidermy, vivisection, dissection, flesh grafting, breeding experiments, and the construction of new skeletal frameworks by mixing and matching bones from different "donors".
Wouldn't Baphomet be more interested in inviting Morgoth? Or would Morgoth most likely conceal his presence until the time is right?
Warsman says:
"Wouldn't Baphomet be more interested in inviting Morgoth? Or would Morgoth most likely conceal his presence until the time is right?"
Probably the latter. Even gods get lost in that maze. It's far more confusing then the labyrinth and it's impossible to break the walls or fly. Plus, it's infinite.

I can imagine Sauron getting angry and try to break the walls.

Sauron's smart enough to fend for himself, he'll figure a way through.

So Baphomet gives him a tour of his home, they become allies, and Mordor's ranks are swelled I suppose?

Perhaps. The next people on the list are The daedra invading the nine hells. Will the daedra take the home of the devils. Or will they be slaughtered?
If they try to siege Umnabad (New Mordor) itself, they won't stand a chance. If Morgoth moves his forces into the Nine Hells, it would be an interesting battle.

Due to powerful magics in the plane, any foe of the devils must conquer an entire layer, not one devil may survive, to move down to the next. This applies to armies, not individuals.

Devils tend to come in large numbers. Pit fiends would already equal the balrogs in number, and they are immune to fire and poison as are all devils. It would be a awesome sight to see siege engines rolling across the battlefield. and demons invade the hells on a secondly basis. Which would make a three way battle to the finish.

Morgoth is a master of blacksmithing and would most likely make weapons for the Balrogs that would resist their heat, most likely made of black mithril. As for the invading army of demons, Morgoth could just as easily corrupt them and use them to his advantage, building up as he got nearer to the last level.
Each layer of the hells has very bad weather. The first layer avernus has fire balls careening through the atmosphere, every 6 seconds there is a %5 chance one rams down on you. On Dispater the walls are scalding hot and the entire layer is a city. On mammon the hail is very very powerful and can smash concrete and it hails nearly all the time. On Phlegethos it is hotter than imaginable, though not mt.doom hot. On Stygia it is colder than antartica. On malbolge it is filled with disease and corpulance. On Maldomini staying for more than an hour makes you very very lazy and complain about moving more than 250 feet from your present location, and you will not move for any reason unless you resist very very hard, on Cania it's nearly absolute zero. And on nessus all canyons are deeper than the grand canyon and it's chalk full of them. You can't go 200 feet without stumbling on a canyon. And bridges are very very rare.

And everytime asmodeus' aspects and avatars and his broken and heavily bleeding and gigantic body sheds blood a advanced pit fiend is born. The Main body is shedding a torrential downpour of blood every second. So by now the amount of pit fiends is unimaginably large, in the millions or billions. And when they shed blood they make barbed devils, the shock troops of hell.

Morgoth can always corrupt more of the demons that spawn from the greater's blood, swelling his armies as long as he drains the devils. Eventually he commands a force strong enough to...well I'll let you decide that.

If you read the pact primeval you are granted powers against chaos, all your attacks are stronger against chaotic beings eladrin, slaadi, demons, and anything of chaotic alignment and you can smite chaos you add your hit dice and charisma bonus to your attack and damage and you become far more skilled in the application of law.
Other magic locations in baator, the shirver, if you can stand this machine's torturous flails, it turns soul shells into lemures, the basic devil every 6 seconds you remain without crying out you gain special powers. And the worm of minarous you can attempt to kill it, but it always comes back if you go in it's gizzard and survive the digestion process your best ability score is increased. And many others.

Hope he doesn't remove it from baator. And I pity the guy who ends up carrying the giant jewel that holds the scroll. Meanwhile the Valar, maiar, and gondorians and such are invading the abyss. The faerunian one. As they see the place as the home of so much evil. They seek to purge the place. They go to the demon web home to the spider goddess of the drow and the home of the drow. They seek to slay the spider demon once and for all. Eru/Oe the one is not present.
