sorry about the spacebar;) I don't think this fight is as easy as first treated. Jack god of cities is in the norse city of gods. Heimdall and Odin are the only ones in the realm aware of his presence..Jack explores and bonds with the city. He is finally spotted flitting between the spires high over Odins bed chambers. Thor is alerted and flies forward for a first contact.
Percieving hostility Jack uses Asgard to bar Thor out.............?

Would Thor's hammer do much to Asgard in that form? Would that do much to Jack Hawksmoor? I really don't think that would slow Jack down much, and that's if he didn't just let the hammer pass through harmlessly. BUT, at least you're thinking.
What happens when he gets lured out of Asgard, beatdown, Jacks power comes from cities right?
Oh yeah it's not like Jack will become infused with the Odin force either. Thor for the definite win
Jack won't be lured out of Asgard precisely because his powers come from cities. And if Thor tried to get Jack to chase him somewhere, Jack could just turn Asgard into a suit and follow. Plus he has Doors.
Jack wouldn't need to be infused with the Odin Force, though since you bring it up, he would have access to the magic flowing through the city. What he could do with it is unclear, but he's shown that he can access it. And speaking of things that belong to Odin, Jack would have access to any weapons in the armory.
@Buckshot: here is a question if asgrad is mystical can jack have some sort of mystic protection ? going with your , jack wont allow thor to penetrate his "city armor" theory
Thats interesting, I've just learned of this character today, he seems interesting. I believe Thor could send him to a realm where his power would be rendered harmless,say Juntunheim, and let him access the power their. I also believe if need be Thor could send Jack anywhere in the 9 realms, perhaps somewhere primitive, and it would be Thor FTW!
@SoA: Not entirely sure what you mean by "mystic protection". My thoughts with the city armor are just that if Jack were using the city that way, I think he'd be incredibly durable. Jack can alter the makeup of the city and increase the density of it, so he could make the already durable stone and other materials even stronger. And if Thor was actually trying to blow that apart, how much damage would a hit from his hammer do to something as large as Asgard? This is the sort of thing we'd need some examples of Thor's big throws for, cuz usually he's knocking people over that I wouldn't imagine being anywhere near as durable as a solidified Asgard suit. And assuming it can do any kind of serious damage and not just put relatively tiny holes in the form (which can be resealed), Jack could alter the city so the hammer just flies right through the material like it was phasing.

Doors allow Jack to teleport back from anywhere Thor might send him...if thats the way Thor would fight him.
Given Thor's pound away nature of thinking. I just see Jack just smashing his face into pavement a couple of times before finding out Thor is pretty goddamn durable (no pun intended). Then either Jack wises up and do something cool with what he got in the city or Thor channels PIS into his hammer and does something funky. Either way I think it would be an enjoyable comic to read if it ever happened ^_^
