Sitaution : Itachi goes back and doesnt want to kill his clan . He attacks the third hokage instead .

Both in prime, alive . Morals off , not bloodlusted . Both healthy . Start 100m apart . Win by any means . Fight takes place in the village . who will win ?

Itachi easily defeated Orochimaru and Orochimaru DID defeat Hiruzen. Itachi was a good guy but if he was evil then Itachi could've taken over the ninja world

He may have lost to orochimaru but let's keep in mind the the 3rd was past his prime when they fought plus he also had to face off against 1st and the 2nd kages at the same time and he still whooped a$$

Having trained with the 1st and 2nd hokages hizuren knows how to defend against the sharingan and genjutsu

Itachi based off of feats. But at one time it was stated that in his prime hiruzen was the strongest hokage, if that is true he should win. Also for those who bring up the hiruzen vs orochimaru fight orchimaru had the 1st and second hokage; while in the itachi fight orchimaru was alone.

Nope. Hiruzen could probably stomp. Hiruzen was easily stronger than a prime Danzo and was stated to be on the seconds level before his prime.

Feats wise, Itachi. the 3rd hokage wasn't shown enough to support his hype sadly. Definitely not a stomp though.

@jdg: You do know Amaterasu has been countered by just running, Everyone knows not to look into Itachi's eyes even guy and he's dumb as a brick, Itachi's Susanoo has no speed feats.

Itachi's genjutsu should do it. I don't recall any feats of Hiruzen having any way to nullify any illusions that were cast on himself.

Yeah his genjutsu is amazing and his Susanoo is the best an MS user can have, but at the end of the day his stamina is crap, he's nearly blind and he's not as godly as people claim he is.

He easily gets defeated by people like Minato, KCM Naruto, SM Naruto, Tobi/Obito, Madara, Hashirama, Kakashi.

@john_doe_0897: He really doesn't. He has nothing on KCM Naruto, Obito or Minato. He literally can't touch them. They all have easy ways of escaping Amaterasu/Tsukuyomi whereas Itachi's stamina won't let him sit inside Susanoo for long.

Ay dodged Amaterasu from a healthier MS user ( Sasuke ) and he's slower than all of the 3 I mentioned.

Sorry but Hiruzen does not have what it takes to put Itachi down. Nothing he has in his arsenal is good enough to counter what Itachi has in his. Itachi has 4 ways (Genjutsu, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Susano'o + the Yata Mirror and the Sealing Sword) he can defeat Hiruzen, while Hiruzen has no way to win.

Itachi, prior to killing his clan, is a *teenager with no higher eye technique above standard sharingan*.

No Amaterasu, nothing else.

He is not above Hokage level as a teenager, and he sure as hell would not even come close to beating the Third in his prime.

Shisui would stand a better shot but even he couldn't hold his own against Danzo.

basically itachi EOS .. edo feats allowed too ?? I didn't restrict anything so that should be very clear . Plus i said prime already lol

@itaching: I had to ask due to the scenario and when we say prime it means their prime and since itachi EOS feat he wasn't in his prime he was sick and dying see the confusion
