Iron Man should win due to superior feats, the fact that even his weaker suits were able to take her on, and also the fact that he can Hulk out and turn invisible if he wants to, but I honestly couldn't even tell you what is going to happen in the actual story. Marvel doesn't have a good track record with fights that should be obvious.

By stats, you'd think Iron Man beats Captain America, but in the previous Civil War, Captain American stomps Iron Man beats up in the face and breaks his armor. I have a feeling that Captain Marvel will win in the comic.

@poeticwarrior: I agree that anybody can win since writers can come up with ridiculous plot devices without much trouble, but if she does win it'll only be through bad writing. Just like when Cap defeated Tony at the end of the first Civil War.

I doubt they would try the same trick twice, so if they want Carol to win, I'm sure there will be other ways.

@poeticwarrior: no, actually in "the Ultimates" story line they stated that ms marvel is earth mightiest hero and she have this binary mode which make her a planet buster
In one on one I believe she have a chance, if she will be able to turn into binary thanks to 1 of her teammates during the war it is game over for tony (unless his new suit will start showing some really good feats)
So he's strong enough to one-shot her if she's surprised (which wouldn't be hard to accomplish again since he can make himself invisible or create illusions).

She was drunk during that fight (and didn't absorb the power until right before the end) and clearly had the edge when it came to an end. And it's not like she was damaged. So let's not try to undersell her here. :)
@jrupert1: Either way, she was amped. She didn't do all that much better against him. She even got a cheap shot while he was distracted (like he did to her) and he tanked it easily.

good question, she was fighting what looks like Thor level power,but I don't belive tony was in that suit and I think it it was made to remind her of rhondny (or however you spell his name) since it was the exact same fight as Warmachine and she hulk vs Thanos
Whoever says Ironman Stomps orCaptain Marvel stomps are fanboys or haven't read many comics over the years involving the two.....
Ironman honestly would have to use some type of Energy Drain tech or specifically build suit. But I highly doubt he can K.O or kill With such ease....When she possess more Firepower; Durability , & Strentgh.
Ms.Marvel has had Binary mode for quite awhile. In recent years it's has made a return. Classic Binarydid bust up a planet but put it into perspective she obviously doesnt & hasn't shown that type of FirePower...Not the power to blow up earth..A Smaller satellite like the Moon matches up more with recent Binary explosions......I see her physical feats & energy output being a problem for Ironman, especially the fact that she can absorb energy which he has small tech around....But hands down if he really wants to win Iron man needs tech to drop Captain Marvel......

@lvenger: @butterflykyss: That was PIS. She hasn't received any amps since he last fought her in his Heroes Return Armor in 1998-1999 and Tony was portrayed as superior to her back then. With a more advanced armor or Hulk-Buster suit, she shouldn't have a chance. I wouldn't trust Bendis to get that right though since he thought that the Ultimates could take on Thanos and Miles Morales could take on Blackheart.

Not sure if Carol is the pet character here. I mean don't get me wrong iron man probably is being under written but he has totally assassinated her character throughout this dumb event....
Yea i have said this before many times, i will say it again.
I take everything written by Bendis with a grain of salt. He is an intentional provocateur that ignores power levels and characterizations in exchange for shock value.
Unless next issue brings more context which i am sure it wont, what happened in the last issue was pure PIS.
