Darius offers Anna one last chance to join him but her refusal only fuels his rage. Now it's all up to Braden to save Anna from certain death, but it might be too late.

    And so, The Awakening storyline wraps up with this third installment. Well, `wrapped up` isn`t strictly true, as we don`t really draw any conclusions come the final page, as Anna and her rescuer, Braden Cole, are thrust into another mysterious adventure like some 19th Century Mulder and Scully.And that`s the big word here, mystery, as come the end of The Awakening Part Three, we`re as clueless about the three principle characters as we were at the beginning of the story.     This issue revolves around a standard Western cliché, that of being saved from the gallows, but as with all clichés if the material is handled in an original way then there is something to be said for the story itself.  To the benefit of this issue that is the story here as Anna is led away to hanged by the mind controlled townsfolk.  Her origin story is tied into the happenings as well as is the moment which is essentially required of every hero, that when they decide to choose their destiny an...
