I'm officially excited for this book. Dan Slott's exuberance over his own creative works is infectious and the more he describes the direction of his books the more stoked I get. Silver Surfer is one of my favorite Marvel characters. I love that he's bringing it back to pure cosmic stuff with him which has always been my favorite aspect of the character. The idea of space as a vast expanse of ocean to be experienced has always hit home for me. I grew up on an island and since going to the beach was a normal thing I couldn't help but dream of embarking out and finding something new in any direction both on Earth and in space. Can't wait to see the Allreds draw more stuff IN SPACE.

I know next to nothing about the Surfer, but Dan Slott's excitement over the character has me wanting to pick up this book in March.

Gawd I love Dan Slott...and him pawing at G-Man is reminiscent of why I like him! I like how he's saying there's so much more of the Marvel U out there that we don't know about, and more importantly, what SS doesn't know about. You can tell he's putting his love for Doctor Who out here with all his directions he wants to take the book with!

Dan has what I like to call "writer's beard." :P

Superior Spider-Man is so much fun, and I can't wait for Silver Surfer with Mike Alred! I love his art so much, I'd follow him to the ends of the earth!

Dan Slott cracks me up! His writing and Allred on art makes this a must-read! I know what he means by the Allred girl, gotta love Darla Deering in FF.

I think this will be the first comic outside of X-Men stuff that I'll actually be buying in quite a while.

I'm for sure going to buy this book!! Silver Surfer has always seemed pretty interesting but cosmic marvel stuff is always over my head or uninteresting. Superior Spiderman!
