THE GOODFinally, we exit that horrible, bloated first arc, and onto something new. While we are still dealing with the problems from the first arc, I'm glad that its leading up to something interesting. The story starts off on a good note, and persists throughout the issue. From the retelling of the Bloody Mary legend to Wonder Woman's epic battle, the story keeps a good brisk pace with something interesting to keep you hooked till the issue ends. While there was a slight overuse of full page spre...

    Williams is back! 0

J.H. Williams III is da bomb! His artwork in Bloodtides was breathtaking. By himself, he showed about four diferent styles to show the different characters' point of view. Just amazing. Please check my mini-review of Batwoman #12 here:http://bit.ly/Oo53BjComments and feedback are always welcome!...

The next year of Batwoman launches with JHW3 back on the pencils. 0

No official review prompted me to just put down a few thoughts. This is the landmark last issue of the first full year of dedicated Batwoman so this is a bit about the series in general and how Issue 12 fits so well with the build up.Unlike a lot of the new52 Issue12s this is a start not an ending. Issue 11 did that.Batwoman Issue 11 was decidedly the cap on the last story arc. It gave us some closure for Sune/Falchion Arc, setup for the bigger badder Medusa Arc, and allowed Kate Kane to be a li...

THE GOOD: Finally, J.H. Williams III returns to Batwoman. Fans have been missing his work and we're all glad that he is back on Batwoman. The return of his splash pages are nothing short of amazing. The fact that he has a different feeling to him art when Wonder Woman is the main is a good thing. The details are endless as well. The story picks up where the last few issue left off, but that old format is gone and therefore, the series can be enjoyable again. The whole fight with Bloody Mary was ...

    Williams III is Back 0

This series has been one of the big surprises for me in the New 52, when I started it having not read the Batwoman issues of Detective Comics (which I have since) I wasn't to sure what to expect. The only thing I did expect was great art from J.H. Williams III and I am glad he is back on pencils once more after his break to just write. We see Batwoman continue searching for the missing children, this issue taking her in a house of mirrors with Abbott (a werebeast) accompanying her. Here she finds...

The Psychotic Perspective: Batwoman 12 0

World's Finest Part 1: Blood TidesI have heard great things about the new Batwoman series, but I have only read one other issue starring this second redheaded Bat Female. Though I enjoyed that issue and I've heard positive reviews, I have to admit that Kate Kane seemed like a redundant character to me, and I've never been particularly curious about her. Still, I read this book hoping for the best.In this issue, Batwoman does battle with Bloody Mary and meets Wonder Woman. So How Good Is Batwoman?...
