None of them are amazing, but I wasn't thrilled about 'Man of Steel,' either. Either way, I'm happy that (at least the title) is Superman-centric. Hopefully the film will be, as well.

I like "Shadow of the Night," but does anyone else think they missed something by not making it "Shadow of the KNIGHT?"

Man of Steel: Shadow of the Knight is the only one I could tolerate. The rest scream of way too much Batman pandering in the title. And even though I realise it's unlikely to happen, just as everyone else is saying, why the hell wouldn't you use World's Finest in the title of the film?

Also why cant MOS 2 be about Superman only and this be World Finest, you know like in the comics where characters have several ongoings.

I don't know why they won't call it World's Finest, its not like people aren't going to know what it is since the Bat and Superman logos will be on the poster. They are probably the two most recognizable symbols in fiction and all the preexisting fans would know what the title meant.

Secondary title = Batman

It's a Superman and Batman film. They're both being referenced in the name this way. Although those names are all terrible. I actually think it makes since to bring in Batman now. They won't have to redo his origin, they can just start with him already existing in this universe (making them one step closer to a JL movie) and at the same time we won't have to worry about things like "Where was Batman during all of these events?". If they do the story right it could actually provide a lot of character development for Superman and build up to later solo movies for him where he will actually be like the hero in the comics. Besides, as long as it's a good movie, who cares?

But there is a problem when Batman name looks bigger that Superman one.

It doesn't. Man of Steel is the MAIN (and most important) part of the title. That's why everything after is called a Sub-title. It's secondary.

why not call it superman/batman public enemies?

i know they used it for the animated film ( wich i still havent seen) but i like the sound of that over any of those domain names and that can really work with how society not just looks at superman but batman as well since he will already be seasoned

Not criticizing WB,but its kinda funny They have all these characters to choose from and haven't come up with a JL movie.Where as Marvel doesn't have all its rights to its characters and still made Avengers.I guess Green Lantern really set them back...

But since that dont selll, screw a name that dont sound bizarre, another thing you notice how many of those names have the word Knight and Dark, uhm it could be a coincidence.

Yeah, I really hate most of these. I'm all for World's Finest (or anything that sounds better than what's listed above really).
