No comics really scared me, but From Hell was definately something else. Gotta Love Moores style and how he can creep the f@#k out of you with very little shown or written simply by letting you imagine the whole scene in your mind.
Very cool stuff.
Animal mans comic was for me something totally different and it had some uber creepy issues specially the first few issues very WOW.

What Comics Have Frightened You?
The scene in Walking Dead when Donna had her face torn off by a zombie was intense. I haven't gotten "scared" by a comic, but I have been disturbed. Vigil's "Faust" springs to mind. I've seen some AWFULLY graphic manga, before.
i was not scared just disgusted in brightest day 2 when that women killed her family then ripped of her skin
It was scary because...
^ They should start writing Crisis of Infinite Baby Earths, so that they could bring him back!
I prefer more of the psychological aspects of horror, which is probably why I prefer movies like The Shining and Excorcist, which build and build the tension throughout the movie.
That being said, and more on topic, I thought that Arkham Asylum fit the bill on both issues. It was able to immediately shock you and build up a vive of "Something is very wrong here".
Strangely enough, haven't gotten to From Hell yet, will have to do that.
No Hero - Because Warren Ellis made me dread the prospect of there actually being super-powered people in the world.
Scars - True horror. Simple concepts that really aren't simple at all. I loved the insight that the TPB gives you into the thought process of creating the comic, but the ideas it presents are horrific in a way that doesn't stretch your imagination. This is something that happens every day.
I've never been "frightened" reading a comic. The only comic I've read that's stayed with me and actually chilled me to the core was the story arc in Garth Ennis' Preacher series about Jesse Custer's origin/childhood and his dealings with Gramma Marie, Jody, and TC. I've never been able to get that feeling of helplessness and disgust out fo my head. Awesome stuff.

You can just feel it creeping around inside your head; feeding the chaos inside. Chilling.
I've definitly been disturbed and chilled by some of the crazy shit in comics but the only things that really make me "Hide,Cry,Vomit and pray" scary are only in movies usually in the older horror movies.
i do enjoy a quick thrill from listening to old radio horrors like the creaking door, mysterious traveler, and lights out
hell even the shadow creeps me out sometimes and hes a GOOD guy
