This series, sometime called "the V.th series", was published by Edifumetto from July 1981 to September 1985, and is the continuation of "Zora La Vampira" series. Zora nuova serie, comparing to its predecessor, has a more explicit drawing, in line with the new Italian editorial laws of those years.

The series includes 68 numbers and 4 supplements (#1suppl. - Festa di sangue, #54suppl. - La sorella del mostro, #65suppl. - Vietato rubare cadaveri). For tax reasons, in September 1983, what should have been #12 of the volume "Necron" comes out, instead, as a supplement to Zora nuova serie #44 (#44suppl. - NECRON - Sopraffatta dai mostri).

In April 1986, Zora has one new story as a supplement to the series "Fasma" (Fasma #7suppl. - Divorarti il cuore).

Strangely enough, the French edition of Zora has the last 12,5 stories specially made for the French market ("Zara la Vampire", ending of #130 until #142), unreleased in Italy and drawn by a different artist. After this, we have to wait until 1999 ("Collana Evoluzioni" published by Lennoxx) before reading two new stories of our beautiful vampire, that had little success and didn't have the announced sequel.
