    Zelda worked in a cafe in Greenwich Village, where the original X-Men used to go to when they had time to relax. As such, she began spending a great deal of time with X-Man Bobby Drake. Eventually she became his girlfriend. This was all in the beginning of the X-Men chronicles. Bobby dumped her some time later because he fell in love with Lorna Dane (Polaris).
