Alternate Future
In a dark alternate future where Ultron and The Phalanx had conquered all of the major and minor Star Empires along with Earth, Zam-Rel grew up to become a member of the newly reestablished Nova Corps, holding the rank of Denarian. Zam was also a medic and tended to a delusional, tech-infected Richard Rider (whose Earth-616 self's soul was trapped in his 68 year-old counterpart's body.) After a discussion with Rider, who upon learning Zam's identity remembered that his mother had been Ko-Rel and mentioned that he owed her more than he could ever repay, together Rider (who had decided to go into battle despite his condition) and Zam took the front lines and were last seen going up against The Phalanx.
