Johnny Blaze, a motorcycle stuntman, became bound to the Spirit of Vengeance known as Zarathos after making a deal with Mephisto to spare the life of his surrogate father. With the power to control hellfire and to inflict pain on those he deems evil with his Penance Stare, Johnny seeks vengeance as Ghost Rider.
Alejandra temporarily replaced Johnny Blaze as the host of Zarathos and was later imbued with a fraction of Zarathos' power when the Spirit of Vengeance returned to Johnny Blaze
When innocent blood is spilled, a Spirit of Vengeance is born. Dan Ketch transforms into Ghost Rider and nothing will stop him from inflicting pain on all those who have inflicted it on innocent beings. Eventually, Ketch learned to control these transformations. However, it was later revealed that his ancestor was Noble Kale. After some time away, he returned working for Zadkiel.

An identity used by a number of western and modern crime fighter. One of the Phantom Riders, Lincoln Slade, besmirred the name as he was responsible for drugging and raping Mockingbird when the Avengers became stuck in the past.
After his family was killed by the mob, U.S. Marine Special Forces veteran Frank Castle vowed to avenge their deaths and became a one-man army in his personal war against the criminal underworld. With a distinct death's head skull adorning his chest, Frank Castle became the vigilante known as the Punisher.
Sara is the grand-daughter of the original Caretaker. After he died she took his place as the new Caretaker. A former nun, she wields a sword infused with hellfire.
In his superhuman form, Michael Badilino was called Vengeance and originally attempted to kill Ghost Rider, believing him to be Zarathos.
