    I think they intended for it to run longer. At the end of issue five, they say that there are four upcoming characters to apear; Y-Men, Magik, Spider-Man and Cypher. As far as I remember, the only one that does show is the gang Y-Men.

    I think they kept the basic ideas but adapted them to use them in New Mutants. I wonder what they were gonna do with Cypher before Necrosha....or was Young X-Men intended to go on long enough for them to take part in Necrosha.

    It could have. I'm sure they could have worked it into the arc. I wish they had. I like Anole and Rockslide and they had a good rappor. And they clearly had plans for future issues. I guess not enough people bought the series.
