The new Saturday Morning Cartoons continue as we get another new episode of Young Justice on Cartoon Network. "Depth" premieres Saturday, June 9, at 10:30 a.m ET/PT as part of DC Nation. The second season has taken the show five years forward and it sounds like someone might not be around after this episode.

Artemis rejoins the team to defend a critical satellite launch — but will her first mission back also be her last?

Maybe she doesn't have one because she's been retired. If she decides to come back full time she might opt for a new costume.

Well Wally still had the old costume in "Bloodlines" so it makes sense shed still have her old costume, witch means they've been retired for a few years, probably after Aquagirl's death.

I like it more but don't know if I'd say flat out better. It certainly has the better animation.

Man, I sure hope Artemis doesn't die. She was my favorite character in the first season.

Really not looking forward to Artemis return, I wish we were getting a different episode before the hiatus...............

I wonder why of all people Artemis is needed for this particular mission?

I meant because she said she was only coming back as a favor. Since she's not a real member anymore it wouldn't make much sense for her to have a new costume. But if she decides to come back after this episode as a full time member again maybe then she'll make herself a new outfit.

And yeah, Artemis is so dead. The fact that she filled Wally's fridge with "everything you love" in it is kinda obvious foreshadowing. "What could go wrong" is even worst.

I've read rumors on different sites, that there is a possibility that Artemis dies in this episode! I really hope not!

Young Justice has been great! Bloodlines was AWESOME! Great adding Impulse.

I predicted it being an Aqualad episode, I'd say he kills her but I have a feeling we'll see Aqualad redeem himself so if HE killed Artemis there'd be no hope of that. Black Manta might, which may drive Kald'r back to the League. But I also can't see Artemis dying since she's a popular new female character, killing her would be too risky.

Guys, let's think about this differently. It says "but will her first mission back also be her last?" but it could be a red herring and it actually means she won't be going out anymore after this and will retire. Or, second to worst case scenario, is injured and takes up a role similar to that of Oracle.

Hope Artemis Doesn't die. Wouldn't be too nice for a kid's cartoon show.

I've got a real bad feeling about this. That first clip really is foreboding with Artemis saying "What could go wrong?" That along with the fact that Aqualad is returning. It kind of supports the theories of Aqualad killing Artemis that have been floating around. I also wonder why they would specifically need Artemis considering she's easily one of the least powerful members. I kind of like the Wally/Artemis pairing and I'd hate to have it destroyed before they even show much of it. As for the second clip, just makes Lagoon Boy even more annoying.

Isn't Artemis dieing the obvious assumption here. This season of YJ seems to taks perverse pleasure in twisting things up. While I do think it is possible that she dies, I am going to go out on a limb and say it will be someone else.

If Artemis does die, then there are going to be dire consequences for those involved. Seeing how Wally reacted to Artemis's death in 'Failsafe' when he wasn't even dating her, it is guaranteed that he will be gutted and outraged. Judging by the first clip, I'll say he would probably cut off all ties with Nightwing and the team. And if Kaldur is responsible then I'm dead sure Wally will hunt him down for revenge, maybe with a little help from Cheshire and Roy.

If Aqualad kills Artemis than it cements his position as a villain and that would be awesome because I mean honestly aqualad is much more badass as a villain than when he was a hero.

Anyways I hope Kaldur kicks lagoon boys ass instead of the more persistent rumors of Kal kills Art.

The only real positive thing I can derive from the previews and the pictures is that killing Artemis would be a bit too obvious. The first clip screams danger for Artemis. But then again, cartoons are not really known to be particularly twist oriented. But I can hope. Honestly, the thought of Artemis dying is a bit depressing because I can see it significantly making the tone of the show a lot darker. I don't know if I would really like that. Its dark enough as it is.

I love seeing the interaction between the new members and the old members. I don't want Artemis to die it would be quite upsetting.

I hate the idea of the haitus that's coming after this episode, you'd expect them to have breaks from the show at the end of the season not in the middle.

I do not believe that Artemis is gonna die, she might "die" but not actually die. I think it's an elaborate ruse to make the enemies think that Kaldur would kill one of their own, because there's no logical reason why Artemis is needed to come out of retirement for a random mission. What ties does she have for this misison? I think its just a plan that they thought out to have her fake her death to make the bad guys think Kaldur really turned. She's already retired and low key, she's not in the crime fighting gig anymore so for her to lie low and fake her death is not that big of deal.

If its one thing I know about any given story is that whenever a character says "what could go wrong" everything will go wrong.

artemis has a hot voice i hope she dose not die it would kill wally. iam glad her and wally hooked up.
