Young Justice started as another legacy team consisting of a generation of sidekicks younger than the original Teen Titans lineup. Like the Teen Titans, they would eventually increase membership beyond sidekicks and make a name for themselves beyond their mentors.
I'm wondering if Aqualad will become a bad guy.....just a thought
Part of me actually sees that happening at least for a time. I base it off on the fact that in a previous interview iirc it was stated that Aqualad didn't know his father was Black Manta but Black Manta knew Aqualad was his kid. I'll google it later, but technically I can see the plot point revolving around Kaldur's mother and how Aquaman was somewhat responsible for what happened and chose to train AL as repentance but never finding the time to tell him about it, AL would hear it from Black Manta instead. Kaldur feels that after all he's done that AM didn't even trust him with that info and that it's different from when it was just JL membership noting that it was personal, etc. He leaves the team joins Black Manta but eventually rejoins the squad after that specific episode/arc is finished.

Wow, you should write for the show, LOL
Yeah, this show is very character driven so if a good guy does become bad it will definitely be justified and have a very good reason. I could see your idea being very similar to what actually happens....if it does happen that is
The reason the thought of him being bad occurred to me is not only does he look like he is wearing armor similar to what Black Manta was wearing on the show, but also Lagoon Boy has similar powers and I doubt they would have two team members with the same power...meaning Aqualad would likely leave to introduce new characters. Who knows, Lagoon Boy might not even actually be on the Team, he might work on the level Red Arrow works currently just. It was just a thought
OMG Blue Beetle!!! That looks SOOOOOO incredibly awesome
@cattlebattle: Possible, but I say who doesn't have a dark past on that serie? Oh yeah, Robin, Kid Flash and Zatanna, but everybody else in the team does.

If you read the tie-in comic Artemis is actually pretty straight laced, its just her family is evil

Also seeing as Robin seems to have grown up a bit (just judging from the picture) it's safe to assume that he'll soon be taking over the leader role as was intended by Aqualad and the gang. The thought of Kaldur being the bad guy appeals to me because throughout the series he's been like the big brother to the some of the team members and the most calm it will be interesting to see a character like that snap. Not that I want him to be a villain but it's those breaking point moments that I find myself enjoying the most.

Agreed, I love Aqualad, he is simply great , his calm and collected attitude could be a ruse though, they have still yet to uncover the Mole....if there really is one.
I suppose Aqualad could also be a sleeper agent and oblivious to the fact that he's a preconditioned subconcious spy. Also, due to her White Martian heritage, Miss Martian could be the mole unknowingly too as the other White Martians may be able to see everythibg through her eyes via telepathy.
Oh, God, and I thought Miss Martian couldn't get uglier... apparently the white martian thing seems to have been forgotten :P
Nice, new member to the team! There were rumors that Rocket would join them as well, so let's see. Just one problem (to me): WHERE THE HELL IS WONDER GIRL?!
About Barbara becoming Batgirl: OH YEAH! I can't wait to see her doing something bigger than simply showing up :))
2. What did they do to Miss M? She looks look like "MEH!"
3. Ohh.. Robin looks awesome, at first I though like "Oh so Dick died and then Tim joined the team" haha :X... But Im kinda sad about his costume, his ah so awesome gloves is gone :(
Also....apparently Barbara Gordon will become Batgirl
OMFG!!!!!!! That gonna be THE GREATEST thing EVER ... ever..... ever....... ever.

but she said she knew Icicle Jr. thanks to family "business" (in the same comic) that worries, then Miss Martian is a white martian race is bad-known for being a violent race, and Aqualad is Black Manta son

and actually I have reviewed the last numbers :D
True, but there seems to be no indication of evil intent from Artemis her inner dialogue in the episode "Homefront" furthers this fact, I think this or next weeks episode of Young Justice deals with M'ganns secret and she appears to be still on the team after that, so I would rule them out......Superboy is the favored breakout character of this show, he has either been in every episode or has been the focus of an episode in some capacity...So now that I see the image of Aqualad in Manta armor I'm starting to strongly suspect him, it's highly unlikely that Robin or Kid Flash would turn evil...
Not really major lol. I like Aquaboy's costume though.
I would consider character additions and who is still on the team (the writers hinted at character deaths and roster changes) and the fact that Aqualad is seemingly a bad guy, pretty major....all depends on your point of view

He's a bad guy... See that's a major spoiler.
apparently, he might be......which, as I said, is pretty revealing

He is wearing the same armor his father does, it has already been discussed on this thread...speculation of course, but completely possible....Its pretty conclusive that Miss Martian or Superboy aren't the moles on the team either if they cared enough give them costume revamps as I imagine the mole would not still be on the team, there is a lot of information to be gathered from these minor details....

I still say Miss Martian is the mole and doesn't even know it.

Anything is possible, although spoilers have revealed she reveals her past and identity to her team mates in the upcoming episode and is apparently still part of the Team afterwards...... I don't even know at this point.

They don't have similar powers. They both have enhanced physical stats besides that Lagoon Boy has minor TP, some claws and Poisonous needles. Aqualad controls water and electricity.
@cattlebattle: And sound freakly logic: You suspect of too many but the most peaceful (and the one everybody trusts more) will hit you on the back >:D @cattlebattle said:

Oh that's what I love of this show, unlikely others, they really have you in a permanent suspense, you really have no idea of what's going to happen next :D and I never have watched anything like that

Lagoon Boy has Hydro kinesis and enhanced physical abilites, well at least used to, do you post on Toonzone, your username is oddly familiar

Yeah same person. I noted the enhanced physical abilities. Still I am sure they will figure out how to balance things besides most atlanteans have water manipulation in this universe anyway but its not like they have not shown a willingness to modify powers as they see fit. So I figure he ends up with the puffer fish stuff, the quills, enhanced physical stats and claws. Maybe Some Minor TP. No Water Manipulation.
Superboy, Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis, and Zatanna
Season 2 Team:
Superboy, Robin, Aqualad, Miss Martian, Lagoon Boy, and Blue Beetle
Where's Kid Flash, Artemis, and Zatanna!?
Maybe Kid Flash dies? Maybe Zatara/Doc Fate comes back for Zatanna and takes her away to train her? Maybe Artemis follows her sister's footsteps? Anything could happen in this series... it's so unpredictable!!
I just hope Wolf is still with the Team... he's so fluffy and vicious!!
