Out of 13 episodes, he's taken part in a whopping 2 missions. first he was put in the "loser team" with a schizophrenic bug and the 4th in a line of Batman's martial artist/detective sidekicks, then he was captured (in his natural environment) because he didn't follow directions and wait for back-up. And in the latest episode he broke his leg which means he'll be out of the game for the next few episodes. People complain about Miss Martian being a "bad" character, but at least she serves a purpose, it seems like the creators of the show took the worse parts of the original team (Conner's impulsiveness, Wally's arrogance, M'ganns catchphrases) and created a universally hated character.
Young Justice
Team » Young Justice appears in 269 issues.
Young Justice started as another legacy team consisting of a generation of sidekicks younger than the original Teen Titans lineup. Like the Teen Titans, they would eventually increase membership beyond sidekicks and make a name for themselves beyond their mentors.
Kill off Lagoon Boy
@comicace3: No, I love the show. I've re-watched the first season at least three times, and Greg Wiesman is a great Storyteller. I can honestly say I would have no complaints with this show if they just removed Lagoon boy. They don't even have to kill him, just get rid of him somehow, I don't care how, put him in a coma, bring back aqualad and have L'gann go back to atlantis since you don't need two "water-guys", give him a rare disease that can only be treated with constant exposure to saltwater, whatever.
I actually laughed when I read the thread's name XD
Well, now that he knows Nightwing's secret, I'm counting on him to spread it to everybody. I need more caos hahaha.
And I have to say I like him in the comics...you get to know him a little better. Anyway, he's not the only difficult character we have. Check out Arsenal, for example.
i don't know about the killing him part, but i'm fine with him leaving the team. maybe Miss Martian breaks up with him, he gets depressed and leaves the team. i do get tired of his neptune beard phrase every other line or two. and something about when he grows in size, i can't stand those skinny legs. can they at least grow in size too
I dislike lagoon boy but I don't think he needs to die maybe just go away...forever...and to be forgotten.
He is kinda annoying, but then again, almost all the ''hot headed'' characters are when you first meet them, took me years to accept Guy Gardner..and I still don't like him THAT much.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. Watching Lagoon Boy getting his ass handed to him by DeathStroke was my favorite part of today's episode. Lets just make that his purpose on the show. Deathstroke FTW.
I think we need a petition for Deathstroke to kick no less than one ass per episode.
Neptune's Beard! I think Lagoon Boy is alright, don't really care for him, don't really dislike him either.
I'm just waiting for the Superboy vs. Lagoon boy episode so Superboy can finally give him a beat down! I get Lagoon is jealous but blaming Superboy everytime something goes wrong with Miss Martian is getting really old.

I love Lagoon Boy. So much for universally hated.
Lagoon Boy is awesome. He's(in my opinion) more interesting than the extremely bland Young Justice version of Superboy. YJ is awesome but their version of SB... Not so much.
There are a lot of undeveloped new characters in Invasion. Lagoon boy, bumblebee, wonder girl, Mal. I am not saying they are bad, but we don't really know much these characters and their backgrounds. Bumblebee, how did she meet Atom, and why did he chose her as his sidekick? Mal, i like Mal, but what is he doing here, we don't know anything about him, why does he live with the Team, why is he even with the team? Wonder girl, is she even on the team anymore? its like we haven't even seen her in the past couple of episodes. She is a great character but she really need development, as do most of the new team members. Beast boy, we have already seen him in the first season, but now he is among the team and I think we should see him more in action, and not like in the first season. Tim Drake, the Second robin, we have seen him lead a squad once or twice, but Dick as Robin was a way developed character than this, Tim is really great but we need to see that more. Arsenal has only appeared in 1 episode so i don't expect that much from him now. And well I am satisfed with Blue Beetle and Kid Flash. Invasion still focuses on the first Team members, but there are also new ones and they also need their story, their character development.

I love this show and can't find that many flaws but this is definitely one of them. Some things just go unexplained due to them having such a large cast and that means characters have little information revealed about them also unfortunately

The only character that I would love to see them kill off is Robin. Tim Drake is the worse version of Robin and that is saying something. It took Jason Todd dying to make him likeable and intriguing but I don't think even death could help Tim out.
...............wha.... i... just..,..wha!?! i cant even comprehend this. I take it your not familiar with the character outside of the show?

Are you crazy!? If he dies who will shout out "By Neptune's beard!"
If that wasn't all he ever said you may have a point, but at this point its becoming the new "Hello Megan!"
Maybe if the creators made him more than just Ms. Martians rebound boyfriend and Mr. proclaim the obvious he'd be more liked.
I don't want Megan to be killed off, but I will leap for joy if Lagaan gets killed. Make it happen Greg Weisman.

@SUNMAN: So clearly you are crazy if you didn't love when Megan said Hello Megan.
You're so moded.
crazy is the writers for jamming it down our throats after saying it like 20 times the first 5 episodes.
There is a reason they had to remove it from season 2............... Probably all the death threats
NEPTUUUNEES beeeard! whats with all these hating surface dwellers, ahh help me angle fish while i get three breeds of fish crap kicked out of me
@Avenging-X-Bolt: I hate dating myself but I remember when Tim Drake was introduced to the DC universe. Never a fan of Tim Drake. He was meant as the antithesis to Jason Todd. While fans would rail against Jason (lol just thinking about the Jason Todd hate mail), Tim was made to be likeable and easy going to a fault.
I don't hate Lagoon Boy and he is a bit annoying but i don't want him dead either, at least not yet. he is a good foil for Kent and Meagan.
This is taken from the preview video announcing DcNation's return. Based on the similar design it looks like this is the same area, and with sphere rolling behind wolf, it might be their new HQ. M'gann is here so it's after they rescued her, but, unless I'm mistaken, every member of the team, even the "forgotten ones" are here EXCEPT Lagoon boy. Maybe I'm just being optimistic, but could La'gann actually be gone?
