This city kitty is always looking for a fast buck along with his other pals of the Manhattan Alley Cats. Too bad Officer Charlie Dibble keeps getting in his way. Top Cat was loosely modeled on Sgt Bilko. Running from September 1961 to April 1962 there were only 30 episodes of the TV show.
Heel racer, leader of the Vulture Squadron, mercenary treasure hunter and supervillain. This devious do-badder's wickedness is only matched by his ineptitude.
Quick Draw McGraw is an anthropomorphic horse sheriff.
Dick Dastardly's snickering sidekick.
Made his debut on the The Huckleberry Hound Show in 1958. He became well known for singing "Oh My Darling,Clementine". He appeared in Hanna-Barbera spinoffs such as Yogi's Gang, Laff-A-Lympics and Yogi's Space Race.
The smaller companion of Yogi Bear.
This cheerfully theatric pink mountain lion is heavily inspired by voice actor Daws Butler's impersonation of Bert Lahr's brilliant performance as the Cowardly Lion in the 1939 Wizard of Oz film, but whereas the Cowardly Lion had wanted to find the courage to be a worthy king of the beasts, Snagglepuss wants to find his place on the stage as a theatre actor.
A cartoon bear that often gets into trouble when he tries snatching picnic baskets. With a voice heavily inspired by Art Carney's Ed Norton character from the 1950s *Honeymooners* TV series, Yogi is smarter than the average bear. Debuting in 1958 as a supporting character in The Huckleberry Hound Show, he broke-out to become Hanna-Barbera's biggest star.
Blabber is the second member of the Super Snooper Detective Agency partnership. Enthusiastic but naive, he is Super Snooper's partner, assistant, apprentice, sidekick, and greatest fan. He often talks directly to the viewing audience during a "Snooper and Blabber" cartoon short, usually just to praise Super Snoooper to the audience.
Owner of the Super Snooper Detective Agency, Super Snooper solves mysteries with his sidekick Blabber Mouse. Sarcastic and world-weary but also benefiting from years of experience at his job, Super Snooper alternates between annoyed and impressed by how often Blabber's naive insights turn out to be accurate.
The park ranger at Jellystone Park who tries to prevent Yogi Bear from stealing picnic baskets.
With a voice inspired by character actor and comic Ed Wynn, this Hanna Barbera character is a little too much of a clone of the Yogi Bear formula: an enthusiastic but childlike animal who lives in a protective environment (in this case, a zoo) under the watchful eye of a parental warden or zookeeper.
Don't let his name fool you, this hyena Hardy is a pessimist, and knows his friend's, Lippy the Lion, schemes will fail, and will bemoan the fact by exclaiming "Oh me, oh my, oh dear."
This purple hippopotamus has a time traveling balloon and a monkey friend named So-So. When he's in a pinch, he can use his patented "Hippo Hurricane Holler."
Ursine resident of Jellystone, this Southern belle is determined to attract Yogi Bear as a sweetheart. Although their size makes them appear to be adults, both Yogi and Cindy relate to each other more like a middle school boy and girl who are only beginning to discover a sense of romance with each other, though Yogi often reverts to a boyish disdain for something as "mushy" as love.
This turtle is a master fencer, and with his sidekick Dum-Dum, will heroically save the day. His catchphrase is "Touché and and please go away!"
A character from The Hillbilly Bears
The driver of the Compact Pussycat #5.
Baba Looey is deputy of Quick Draw McGraw.
Magilla Gorilla lives in the display window of Peebles' Pet Shop. Mr. Peebles seems to fail in selling and getting rid of Magilla.
